Summary
Als Vincent seinen neuen Kollegen Adam Raczek vor sich betrachtete, gingen ihm zwei Gedanken durch den Kopf.
Erstens, dieser Kollege, besonders so auffällig und abschätzig wie er ihn gerade musterte, war genau der Typ Mann der Vincents Leben in der Polizeischule zur Hölle gemacht hatte. Faul, wahrscheinlich eine große Klappe und immer einen abwertenden, homophoben oder sexistischen Spruch auf den Lippen. Ein Mann, mit dem er jetzt wohl oder übel zusammenarbeiten musste, aber den Teufel tun würde, irgendeine Form von Freundschaft zuzulassen. Ein Mann, der, soweit Vincents erster Eindruck ihn nicht täuschte, seinen Start hier keineswegs erleichtern würde. Das konnte ja heiter werden.
Und zweitens: Er war unglaublich attraktiv.

"Ich würde Sie normalerweise nie um so etwas bitten", klinkte sich Pawlak in die Unterhaltung ein, eine zarte Röte umspielte seine Wangen, "es ist wahrlich etwas unprofessionell und wahrscheinlich auch gegen den Verhaltenskodex oder ähnliches, aber ich bin verzweifelt. Wir alle sind verzweifelt."

As he stopped the car Steve was almost completely sure he was seeing who he thought he was seeing, and it changed everything. Billy. Fucking. Hargrove.
Billy grinned to himself as he walked over to the car on the other side of the street. Judging by the way it had come to a quick halt in front of him he had the customer in the bag already. Summary
Castiel is directionless, depressed, and working in one of the worst possible places to be so—Disneyland Park. Seeing hundreds of excited people every day, trying to smile for the customers, and dealing with the fact that his infuriating brother Gabriel is so readily capable of every park job he throws himself into makes Castiel feel like he could barely manage to keep his head above the foot of water in the “It’s a Small World” canal that he oversees. All of that changes when the universe sees fit to put him in a Disneyesque love story opposite the handsome animator in the window on Main Street who doesn’t care about Castiel’s lethargic lack of idealism—so long as he can make caustic Cas come to appreciate every attraction in the park. But life isn’t a Disney fairytale, and even though an easy out and a happy ending are what Castiel seeks, he’ll begin to wonder if the happiest ending isn’t really an ending at all.
