Summary
After being assigned his room on the Astral Express, the first thing Sunday does is remove his halo.
Penance is a long journey, one made arduous by the unpredictability of his new hosts. Perhaps his ultimate repentance will come after he learns to embrace disorder, but the current him is incapable of doing such. The Astral Express has no interest in being his new captors, but Sunday has lived his whole life in a cage.
Perhaps chaos is exactly what he needs to find absolution.

It learns to coexist alongside humans. It learns social norms and expectations. It learns about the world, and becomes extremely familiar with the human body. After a string of three betrayals from those it trusted the most, however, its hunger becomes overwhelming, and it wants nothing more than to consume everything that has ever made it feel anything.
Perhaps one day, something will be able to sate its hunger. But now, it craves.
