Summary
Finally home from their trip to the home world of the creatures they call angels and demons, the group around Alec Lightwood and his friends find themselves facing their hardest challenge yet. Summary
Seacouver, 1998. An injured man is brought to Anne Lindsey's hospital and quickly turns out to be anything but an ordinary hit-and-run victim. Aware that there is no way the alien patient will remain unreported, and, following that, safe from being studied with or without his consent, Anne enlists Duncan and his friends to kidnap him from the hospital. That leaves Duncan, Amanda, and Methos with a stranger on their hands who has a Buzz yet knows nothing of the Game - and has a good number of ideas about how they and he connect that do not necessarily fit in with their own world view. Besides that, both his space ship and main tool have gone missing. He's going to need some help retrieving both.

Summary
The Doctor had thought that he understands all there is to know about time, and dying, and regeneration. What he hasn't expected is that on top of regenerating into the next incarnation of himself, he also continues to exist - in a body almost literally disintegrating from radiation damage and in a world that he had no idea existed. Faced with a change that he might yet continue to exist as himself, he takes up the fight for his own life, backed by old friends and new allies. He'll find out if he can make a life for himself in this new world someday - but first, he has to live.

I decided to write this after being OUTRAGED by the number of highly problematic and abusive fanfics I see on this site! Honestly I shouldn't even post it here at all, since AO3 is complicit in LITERAL SEX TRAFFICKING and ABUSE by allowing just anyone to post whatever they want. But it's the best website for posting fic. What am I supposed to do, raise money to pay for servers and use AO3's entirely, 100% open source code to start a new site that upholds REAL MORALITY? Anyways here's my fanfic. If you comment on this fic with ANY NEGATIVE OPINION it's ABUSE and I will call the FBI. So they made sure to draw healing runes on the worst of his injuries, just barely strong enough to ensure he did not die from any of them.
