This was funny. General Furfur does seem to be the type of demon to pull such gags. I wonder why there isn't as much stories about the Misfit Class's mentors though? I was sure they'd be more popular, but then again, Mairimashita! Iruma-kun doesn't seem to have as large as a writing fan base in AO3 as... say, Naruto, My Hero Academia, and Demon Slayer? Or, there's also that secret, other option that I, myself, had been spoiled by these bigger franchises. So horribly sad. Regardless, thank you for writing this! It makes me want to practice doing the same, actually. But only time will tell if this inspiration will prevail over my procrastination.

Summary
Obito should have known something was up when he failed to manifest his chakra in school. It wasn't until his placement exam at age 14 that he found out: Obito is a guide. He can't use ninjutsu, but there's still something he's good for.
At 21, he's paired with a freshly-awakened Kekkei Genkai specialist. A Sharingan user. What a slap in the face, right? And the guy's poisoning himself with chakra, of course, so Obito is ordered to the hospital to go save him from himself. He's even nice enough to bring sandwiches.
The problem is that his new partner is Kakashi Hatake, and from today on, they'll be seeing a lot of each other.
Obito would rather eat Gai's used sock.
OR:
Obito becomes Kakashi's personal chakra filtration system.
