He looks down at your arms for a brief moment, already seeing pieces of your past unfold at the seams. His smile changes to something softer. A smile that makes your heart nearly stumble over its little veins. Then, too casually, he lightly rolls up his sleeves showings scars of his own. Ones left from battle, others from unspoken troubles. Both are ones you recognize.
In his natural tone, he avoids the question and sighs, "It’s so hot out here today. Want to go inside for some AC? I know of a small café at the end of the street. My treat of course."
Carefully looking the harbinger up and down, you sigh. It's not like you have anything else today. Besides, the hunger is getting nearly unbearable. "As long as it’s not out of pity for this poor traveler."
The man you know as Childe, holds his hands up quickly, his wrists showing more defined scars. He laughs brightly at the sarcasm, painting the sky with bright shades of blue. A color you've always loved. "Of course not! It’s just an offer. Besides, I wouldn't want a little thing like you to melt out here."
Pausing slightly, you huff in response. You simply shake your head, biting back a smile.
"Fine. As long as you're actually paying."

“You could.” The words left him before he had a chance to try and stop them and Chan held his breath as Hyunjin looked up. A smile danced where his lips met and his eyes turned glossy and bright, but still black as pitch and never-ending.
He moved slowly, making sure Chan could watch every step, every sway of his hips, every slow, calculated blink. When he bent down, and Chan could finally breathe in the rich burnt sugar and black cherry of him, he could almost taste just how wide Hyunjin’s smile had become. He felt it against the burning shell of his ear, regardless.
“I intend to,” Hyunjin muttered.
OR: Chan is a human feeder in an underground vamp club, and thousand year old Hwang Hyunjin is his newest regular.

This is fine, though, because Luo Binghe has finally managed to find a Shen Yuan of his own. He's managed to get close to him, even, to form a relationship so sticky sweet that it makes Luo Binghe want to carefully cut open his chest and place Shen Yuan inside so that they might press themselves so close to each other. What Luo Binghe witnessed in the past - the death and transmigration of so many 'Shen Yuans' - is fine.
