“Jimin,” Jeongguk called, pulling himself out from under the engine. There was a tone to it that made Jimin’s stomach curl. He turned to face him, answering his call. Jeongguk wasn’t upset, he seemed amused. He slowly approached Jimin, a predatorial look that squeezed the air from his lungs. His whole body felt like stone, the air around him seeming to weigh him down.
Casually, Jeongguk rested his forearms on Jimin’s shoulders, taking a lock of hair between his fingers and twirled it. He leaned his face against Jimin’s neck, just below his ear to whisper. “If I just wanted to fuck you,” he paused long enough to nuzzle down Jimin’s neck, eliciting a whine from the smaller. It wasn’t a noise he had ever made before. His entire body was acting out of character, shivering, melting it against the broad body pressed against him, opening himself to be touched. His head lolled to the side. Jeongguk smirked, moving back to his ear, nibbling on the lobe before finishing his thought. “We would have.”

All the characters are just really fun! It has some nice twists. The best parts are the cute scenes, author’s gift with tension, character relationships (platonic and romantic), and how it doesn’t feel too game-y. Like there’s stats and common systems/concepts but you aren’t looking at a few pages of numbers every chapter.
