Summary
V is on everyone's mind in the Ministry, making Frater Imperator irritated each time he hears about him. He's also curious about him, but refuses to approach Perpetua - he decides to assign you work closely with Papa and learn about the new guy. You very much like your position as Frater's Secretary, although it would be nice to get away from the former Papa and his little tantrums. Agreeing to take the job, you find your new boss is a very unsettling man - he doesn't talk, it's hard to find him at times, he moves a little too strange for a normal person and for some reason, he can't stop staring at you. Committed to the job, you do your best to assist and help, even when you learn about Perpetua's dark secret that threatens your life.

Scar had gotten used to running solo, and then, for a long time, he'd just had Cub. Now his circle was expanding, with a boyfriend in Grian that was just...well, it was hard to describe. He felt lighter with Grian, more at home in a way unique to anything he'd ever felt before. Not to say that he hadn't felt that with Cub, because he had, most certainly, but it was just...different. And after all these years of laboring away at the same old routine, different felt good.
Scar had very few people he trusted unconditionally in his life. That counter ticking up to two was equal parts relieving and anxiety-inducing.
There was also a second counter ticking up to two...well, actually, three, but Scar wasn't aware of that one. The amount of concealed hybrids in his life was rather ridiculous, and even further was the fact that for the most part, he didn't have a clue.But who cared? Having his boyfriend and his best friend at the same table for a few hours was, for the moment, all he wanted.

The exception to this is 'Pretty Boy' which, IF someone does want to read the whole series in order, I'd want them to have read that one first and then all the rest, so 'Pretty Boy' will always be the first fic in the line-up, but after that you could read chronologically or just bounce around as you please! On the other line, Shane goes quiet. Then, shuffling around, he says, “What’s going on, Rozanov?”
