Your name is JOHN EGBERT and your life is confusing. That’s putting it simply. To be more complex, it’s a terrible system of unfulfillment, drugs, and the worse judgement you’ve ever had. You work, not because you have to but because you want to. You still socialize with all your friends, you all live in the same sort-of-Earth sort-of-Alternia neighborhood anyways. There’s a vast population around you that sort of treat you all like gods and they’re not technically wrong. You’re also sort of immortal, but it’s not really something that comes up often.
Oh, and you supply a constant stream of hard drugs to your two junkie Striders.

He was only sixteen walking around the streets of Vancouver, when he saw an Alliance recruitment ad. It had all the basic stuff he recognized from other military recruitment posters, but this one was different. It showed an Alliance soldier in standard onyx armour clutching an M80 lancer with both of his hands. The soldier was looking out over a cliff on an empty barren landscape, he looked noble, a guardian over a foreign planet.
Just below that was the Systems Alliance logo followed by the slogan in large bold letters "Duty, Honor, Sacrifice. Systems Alliance - Enlist Today."
At the bottom right of the poster he could see the finely printed words. "Want to know more about other military programs? Go to Systems Alliance on the extranet, keyword: Alliance."
At eighteen Shepard had done it, what he found would forever change his life. A few gruesome years of training later, he enlisted into the N7 program with a personal recommendation from Captain Anderson.

Thor said "You listen to me." His voice quiet, but frightening. He said "I do fucking care about you, Loki. I do love you, don't ever fucking doubt that I love you. But I am warning you...If you don't clean your shit up, stop blaming other people for your problems, I will leave. And you won't ever see me again, do you understand me? The third and final act in The Strangest of Places trilogy. Taking place right after the final chapter of Act Two, Frank and his companion work through past struggles of their relationship to build up a sturdy partnership. With faces from the past coming back into Frank's life, most would presume this is a good thing. Frank is now adapting to his second life and finding out how to be himself. Not everyone in his life though has the best intentions and he may not be able to protect those closest to him.

Torn's attempt to patch things up goes wrong as his self-medication with alcohol takes a turn for the worse. The Shadow orders him to detox, and he also goes to Tess for help.
A weekend of withdrawal and shenanigans ensues.

Dear Ranboo,I don’t really know why I’m writing this. Well I do. Tommy told me it would be good for my mental health, whatever the fuck he means by that. But him and Phil went out and got me a little journal and fancy pen and I’d feel bad if I didn’t use them. I didn’t tell him everything about you. Just that I made a friend and that- well he couldn’t stay. I wonder if by writing these letters I’m getting out all my emotions like Tommy said I would. Or if I’m writing them with hopes that you’ll still read them. The journal still reminds me of you with your stupid memory book. I still have it. I left it in a box under the guest room bed. It’s not the only thing in there. I have some dried magnolias too, from the dashboard. And the dumb Hawaiian shirt and red hoodie and mismatched shoes. Last I checked your shoes had mould growing on them from all the time you’d walked through streams with them on and complained your socks were wet.
