Summary
This is a collection of essays because many of my friends have found elements of this work more useful and complete in its original "special interest infodump" stage than Project Elvhen, so I thought it might be helpful to non-linguist fans who might also be left scratching their heads about some of FenXShiral's work. In the manner of many academics, I have both borrowed from and expanded upon the original. As a note, as I work on this, some of the individual words in the translations may change. That's not because I don't know what I'm doing, but I'm also learning and solidifying more as I write the guide, and I'm going to be tweaking it until I'm satisfied, but I want to share what I do have with you!
I have been fiddling with this labor of love for years. It's my ultimate goal to make this a speakable language, pushed beyond the cipher, with words that are useful to your average speaker trying to learn it. I apply a radically kind perspective on the Dalish throughout the work, not tainted by the Chantry's perspective of this ancient and beautiful culture.
Ready to learn to really speak Elvhen this time? Let's do this.

Summary
Fenria Halani (Lani) Lavellan has led a trying and interesting life so far but things took a dramatic turn to the left after Keeper Deshanna sends the Clan Lavellan First to spy on Divine Justina's Conclave. A simple recon mission turns into a battle for all of Thedas with the Dalish woman at its center. With the help of her companions and advisers she seeks to put the world right.
However, Lavellan, like everyone, has secrets. Touched by a rare and ancient mage, she can take the form of a wolf. Not a true shifter as the mythic Morrigan, she can only take the one form but she can do so with absolute control. A hidden skill that has both helped and condemned her. How long can she keep her past hidden? What happens if she fails? And who is this mysterious and handsome elven man? When her walls come down, she might find she is not so alone as she thought... or perhaps even more so.

Remix of Solas and Lavellan's story in DAI and beyond. Each chapter follows the major arcana suit of tarot cards as Éolas transforms from ranger to Inquisitor, learning the paradoxes of falling in love with an elven god.

I wanted to replay Inquisition, but as it turns out there is stupid level grinding and you never know what party banter you get or your computer crashes... so I decided to write it. Feel free to read along and see the game through my Lavellan's eyes.
What to expect:
- No Vivienne, i just couldn't write her, couldn't get into her character.
- LOTS of Lavellan back story. This is my interpretation of the clan.
- The sequence of events can change based on travel times. It takes ~14 days to get to Western Approach. Traipsing back and forth is silly.
- My elvhen is bad.
- Companion plot pacing changed to be more organic. I take more liberties with the romance, but all for a good cause.-- Posting Every Two Weeks on Tuesday --
