    Sedum Caerulu, Fifteenth Bloom, finds a mysterious planet-sized relic in deep space that's aimed at Terra, the homeworld of the Affini Compact's most recently domesticated species.

    RAINDrop5, part of a cyborg drone strike team sent by OCNI to investigate and neutralize the threat to Terra, finds itself stuck in the labyrinths of the object and disconnected from its hive.

    And somewhere deep in the object's subterranean biosphere, a new consciousness begins to awaken.

    How will the Affini Compact untangle this conundrum and make every sophont involved happy?

    Many elements of this story are inspired by the NES game The Guardian Legend, but this is firmly set in the HDG setting and is not a crossover.
