    Summary

Sirius Black has never met a silence he didn’t want to fill with a bad joke, a cigarette, or a questionable hookup.
Remus Lupin, on the other hand, studies silences like they’re something sacred—catalogues them, respects them, knows when to leave them alone.

Sirius is grieving. Or maybe just aggressively not-grieving. He’s tired, a little unhinged, probably smells like lavender-scented mold, and trying (sort of) to tick off a self-improvement list that mostly reads like someone shouted “healing” into a Pinterest board.
Then there’s Remus: tall, annoyingly clever, half-thrifted academic boy who smells like lemons and has zero patience for Sirius' rich-boy nihilism.
This is a story about grief, group counseling, guilt, weird eye contact, sweaty concerts, mildew apartments, and two idiots who share a bit too much trauma. It’s about how sometimes the quiet people see you clearer than anyone else. And how maybe, just maybe, that turns out to be terrifyingly right.

    THE STORY IS NOW COMPLETE.

such a beautiful story with a perfect ending i loved it! i’m a sucker for a whump fic so sirius in his depression just grabbed something in me and held me here. remus is sexy as always, and i love love love love their flirty banter, i think the tension and the arguing is so hot. the shared grief is poetic, the codependency is ughhhhh. i love the james and lily and harry side story, i love the reality of them having a baby so they can’t focus on sirius anymore and how sirius deals with that.

sirius is so perfect in this, i love how self aware he is and how he knows what he’s doing and continues to do it anyway like that is so real damn. the list was amazing, i loved seeing him check it off, it felt like we were working through it together.

remus i love you and i love your snark and your wit sirius needed someone to keep him in line. i like the contrast with how sirius and remus deal with grief. sirius is all consumed, and remus becomes detached, and they can’t really get over it until they get another perspective. remus being so horny all the time is perfect to like yes sexy educated man meow

the therapy!!!!! omg so realistic and it shows how self aware sirius is, but he really needed an outside perspective. i love his healing arc vibe. he only could have done it with remus not there

their relationship was perf! i was so happy there was no third act breakup because that would have killed me. they both had issues and acknowledged eachothers and grew stronger. remus the man you are! going to paris was the best thing for them if im being honest because sirius needed to learn how to be a human alone, before being one for remus. i love this fic and im so sad its over

    Summary

In 1965, Voldemort became Minister for Magic. In 1968, the leadership of the Order of the Phoenix was destroyed, the remnants of the terrorist organisation driven underground. By 1970, all was well in Great Britain.

The year is 1984. Sirius Black has just turned 25. He's rich, he's powerful, and most importantly--he's bored.

But all of that is about to change.

wow!!! i did not expect that ending at all, how unique from everything else canon-divergent

this was incredible to read and incredibly well written, i literally read it in a day and ignored all of my assessments due to finish it because i couldn’t put it down. i’m very sad it’s over now it was just amazing. felt like a movie the chapters flew past so quick

i like sirius in this, how he’s a dark wizard, working for voldemort, but mentally detatched from it all, and meeting remus by chance changes his whole world. his character is very very complex and i really like it, all his blood purity and culture ingrained into his very being, he had to unlearn all
his prejudices in a new environment that hated everything about him. it must have been very jarring. i like how he ended fighting and risking his life for a cause that he would have never expected, even after the war finished. his relationship with regulus is very realistic, the sibling miscommunication and arguments are heartbreaking, seeing all the povs of the past make me sad. love them. i love him and remus, while i wish we got some smut that was built up while they were fighting the war i think it’s realistic that we didn’t. they hurt eachother too much and it made their ‘chance’ meeting all the more emotional and conflicting. i love them though, very sexy

remus just breaks my heart, thrust into this life of violence with no choice is very upsetting. i lowk love that he was a badass fighter though, even though it’s inhumane and unethical. his pov was amazing, seeing how wrong sirius got it, but how remus was still entranced(?) by sirius despite their differences. throughout the story he seems very distanced from sirius, but also right around the corner and i think that fits their relationship very realistic and very perfect. i wish he was able to grow up as a normal boy and make his friends normally, but atleast he found the order

james was an enigma, i loved his relationship with sex and love, i think it was very different to how he’s normally portrayed and it’s very refreshing. the chosen one plot line suits him, and the plot twist was great cuz he was pissing me off being all good at everything smh. the way he dies is very realistic imo. he survived the war, got out of prison, but faced the consequences still. his death was sudden, dull, not flashy at all, and very ordinary. i think that speaks for the realities of death in a way. it happens and then it’s over. life goes on without you and time never stops. i miss you james

lily is very complex in this too and i love her. very different to the tsundere vibes she’s normally given. i love a strong willed woman who feels deeply. my baby. her ending is devastating, but oh so realistic. her grief after james is hear breaking, and the effects of the horcrux are a nice realistic touch to her story. not everyone escapes war untouched. no one does really.

when we saw regulus i actually gasped. the way sirius described it was perfect!!! i felt his shock and his anger and i loved it. i’m not normally a jegulus fan, but i think it was done very well in this with the unrequited feelings(??) the way regulus and sirius loved was so fierce and inspiring in a way. i love his complex relationship with his past, family, and future. him being harry’s ‘dad’ was perfect.

dorcas!!!!! i loved her and i loved her plot twist!!! giving neville vibes lol. her feelings relating the marriage and her duty’s were devastating, i understand why she was relived when sirius went missing, even if she was working with the order the whole time. she had to keep it up. i love that she ate everyone up and just got voldemort that quickly like yes i love you!! im sad we didn’t get any dorlene but oh well. any dorcas is enough

all that being said, i wish wish wishhhhh sirius was more bamf vibes like he didn’t do much of anything other than stand around. i wanted him to kill and be lowkey psycho but anyway.

amazing read!!! i can see why this is a fan fav, so fun and shocking and insightful on racism, prejudice, discrimination and inequality. i feel changed lmaooooo

    “Itadori.”

They speak at the same time.

Megumi’s head nods, mouth ajar. Itadori is standing before him, in his body, with his jaw hanging slack open and clothes hastily put on.

    Summary

Father Remus Lupin usually thinks of himself as a good person; he runs a youth group, takes shifts in the confessional every Sunday, and sticks to all of his vows (yes, even the one of celibacy). But he begins to think he's being punished when Sirius Black starts showing up in his confessional booth every week, describing in painstaking detail all the very, very sinful thoughts he's been having.

this is so sexy and sacrilegious it’s euphoric i love it i love a sexy sirius who knows what to say to rile up remus

confessions were hot and i love how we never knew for sure that they hooked up until the end, it was all kinda vague and implied and i think that was done well!!

    beautiful writing
