Summary
The first time you succumb to boredom again you know that you really are on the road to recovery. It's been two whole months since you came back to Earth, but to everyone else, it's as if you came back to life. They treat you like you're fragile, not because they have no faith in you, but because you really were broken when you returned. But eventually, you're walking through your house without having to stop and lean against the wall, against Kanaya, drained by the short trip from one room to the next. You spend much of your time in the garden, Kanaya knelt in the grass, tending to the flower beds your mother has neglected for so long.
(Kanaya, Rose and the seven years it takes for things to fall into place.)

Summary
You destroy a universe (with help, of course) and when you wake up in your bed on an Earth that is whole and totally not a ruin, you think things are pretty great. When you find there are three trolls with you, alive and well (and ok, angry too), you think things are pretty fantastic. When you find out your friends are alive, they're in their own beds and homes and have their own trollish company, you think things couldn't be better.
You couldn't be more wrong.
Well, actually, that's a lie. Everyone agrees that this is better than dying out in the veil, right? And it won't be that hard to settle a dozen trolls onto Earth, will it? It's just that when you dreamed about meeting up with everyone and making friends, this wasn't quite (or at all) what you expected.
Actually, Karkat is exactly as advertised. It’s everything else that’s a disaster.
This work is no longer updating.

Your first thought is, strangely, I don't know the first thing about getting bloodstains out of carpet.
Your second thought is, not-strangely, There's no winning this game. It's only different kinds of losing.
Your third thought is, Where's that sobbing coming from?
Then you realize it's you.
(A study of the lives of four Sburb players as they learn to live after the game.)

Summary
Jade's trying to tell you that the fact that one corner of the tent is an inch higher than the other three and it's bothering her, and Dave's in the corner again trying to play his music to drown out the beat of time in his ears, and John's building a campfire with the help of the Breeze because he's terrified of going inside, and you're sitting there wondering if anyone else ever experienced the concept of a hive mind more completely than you are right at the moment.
(Sburb, AU with no Reckoning, children with powers. Expect angst.)
