The night before the Polar Tang is set to leave Zou, Law wanted nothing more than a full night's rest, since once they set sail with the intent infiltrating the nation of Wano, that would become nothing more than a pipe dream. The Heart pirates have other plans, ones that include treating the sub as an armored yacht and spilling as much booze as they could get their hands on. The only positive he can find in the whole situation is that you both appear to be having an equal amount of fun. It really is a shame, the pair of you have some unfinished business he had intended to bring up, but after 3-4 cups he convinced himself he needed for courage.. he'd be lucky if he threw up in a socially acceptable place
Or; Law is a light-weight, and you're sick for similar reasons.

(Still, maybe he should have paid more attention to just what was being splashed.)

Her heart did a little skip at that. Okarun never called her Momo, except when he transformed. She was just startled, was all. When he said it so casually, dropping the curtain of pretenses and formality, it felt… special. It was like his own way of peering into her soul.
“A-anyways, let me see if I can fix this. I wanna go back to bed as soon as possible,” the psychic brushed it off, willing the heat in her cheeks to dissipate.

Soulmates? Sure, he’s heard of them, everyone has. There’s always rumours about some celebrity soulmate mismatch, they feature as plotlines in movies and comics. Law sometimes hears his colleagues claim to have soulmates despite his best efforts to avoid learning about their personal lives.
Nobody else knows if someone has a soulmate because there’s no proof. The concept of a soulmate can’t be measured, or verified, or proven. As far as he’s concerned the existence of soulmates are for people in a flight of fancy, which will never happen to him so it’s something he never has to worry about. That’s as far as he considers the concept of soulmates.
