Summary
When Kageyama starts acting weird and twitchy around him, it takes Hinata approximately two hours to notice. It then takes him about two more days before he figures out why Kageyama is acting so strange -- namely, that he finally caught a clue about his big stupid crush on Hinata. Obviously Hinata knows about the big stupid crush -- he’s not blind, and Kageyama has about as much subtlety as a tractor.

Summary
Today will be a good day, Andrew thinks as he slowly comes to wakefulness. The nightmares that thrum beneath his skin are dull and muffled. He blinks the sleep out of his eyes, his vision clearing to see a shock of auburn hair on the pillow beside him. Neil is sprawled out on his side, his mouth open comically wide, half of his face squished into the pillow. He looks like a deformed octopus. Andrew lets the curl of fondness sweep through his entire body, leaving him feeling warmer than usual.

“Ilya Rozanov,” Shane repeats slowly, letting himself taste the words. He grins. “Wow. You’re, like, a really good player. How come you’re in Canada for summer camp? Is that weird to ask? Sorry if that’s weird. I just meant-”
Shane is cut off by a hand on his mouth. He flushes.
“Too fast,” Ilya says. “My English… not good.”
“Sorry,” Shane mumbles into Ilya’s hand. Ilya grins and shakes his head, curls dancing, as he pulls his hand away.
“Is okay. Slow words. Okay?”
This year marks thirteen year Shane Hollander's third summer at Coach Marakov's elite hockey training camp. In attendance for the first time: Ilya Rozanov, visiting from Russia. Shane isn't the most sociable, and Ilya's English isn't the greatest, yet the unlikely duo soon become the best of friends.
It's just one summer, but it makes a world of difference.

Summary
After coming out to Rose, Shane decides he doesn't want to lie anymore, even if he isn't sure coming out will mean he gets happily ever after with Ilya. When coming out to the Voyageurs leaves him wondering what his future in Montreal might look like, he lets himself be a little selfish, he lets himself wonder if there might be somewhere else he might be happy. If Montreal wants to get rid of a generational player, he's not about to stop them, especially if it means he can get a little closer to joy.
