He blinked his eyes open and realized that he was buried under a whole lot of snow. He took a sharp breath in, trying not to panic.
“I’m fine,” he lied, somehow managing to keep his voice steady. “Just get me once you’re finished, I’ll be okay until then.”
“Roger that, Rogers,” Tony said, and Steve heard the sound of his repulsors blasting something through the comms. “We’ll get you soon.”

When he called Fury to ask for advice, Fury laughed, hung up on him, called him back just to laugh some more, and then said, “If nobody’s dying, Stark, I really don’t care” and hung up again.
Tony wondered vaguely who he had pissed off, besides all the usual suspects. This felt more as though he’d pissed somebody off in, like, a cosmic way.
