That’s what I pledge to you, Toms.” Wilbur tucks it behind Tommy’s ear. “I’m going to love you and care for you for the rest of my life, I promise. I think of you like a brother, Tommy. And I never leave family behind.”

A sudden silence fell over the crowd.
Techno inhales softly before walking out onto the stage, the auditorium silent as he continues his walk, staring straight at the chair with a microphone stand in front. When he looks up a little, the stage lights almost blinding him, almost like a blanket of pure light over his eyes.
He reaches the chair, places his violin case down on the chair gently, opening the case and with practiced precision, taking his violin and bow out. He turns to the audience, never making any eye contact.
He inhales softly, reassuring himself and staring at the music sheet on the music sheet stand. He briefly glances at it, resting his violin at the crook of his neck, bow hovering above the strings.
He exhales, takes a look up and plays.

Sapnap hurriedly gets up but George reaches out and grabs his ankle causing Sapnap to lose balance and fall again, his sword dropping some distance away from them.

“I think you’re very good at it, Quackity from Las Nevadas,” Charlie said honestly. “I just don’t think you want to be. You don’t let anybody join your herd even if you want them to because… well, I don’t know why. You don’t let anybody get close.”
“Wow,” Quackity said with a bitter chuckle. “Looks like you’re better at being a human than I am, aren’t you?”
Quackity stood up, took a final drag of his cigarette before dropping it onto the ground putting it out under his boot. He extended a hand and a half-smile to Charlie before speaking.
“C’mon, Charlie,” he said slowly. “We should head inside. It’s getting late.”
