Killing the witch that lived in the forest sounds easy enough. Too bad once he meets her, he can’t bring himself to actually do it. Good thing Druig isn’t known for following rules, because she just may be what he needs; to save Olympia and solve the mystery of his own powers.
Now, with a dead coven leader, strange dreams, and a missing magical relic that has the power to destroy life as they know it — Druig and Makkari must find a way to fix the strange happenings around town before it’s destroyed forever. That is if they can manage to not murder each other.

As the two of them watched the festivities, Makkari found herself drawing closer to Druig until the backs of their hands were brushing. The humans started to chant and beat on drums, and as the music crescendoed, Makkari reached for Druig’s hand, hooking their pinkies together first. Tentatively, he laced their fingers together and squeezed. She was so giddy she swore she felt the pulse of the drums all the way from the top of her head to the bottoms of her shoes for days afterward.
Now, she thought she would never feel that way again.
(Or, just some missing moments between our new favorite MCU couple!)

Somewhere along the way, the Greeks had seen one or more of the Eternals fighting Deviants, and had taken it as holy signs. Thena was worshipped for her battle skill and wisdom. Ikaris was worshipped for his flight and hubris. Phastos for his crafting abilities. Sersi for her beautiful, beautiful power.
And Druig watched. He watched from the side as his family became gods right before him. Their powers were flashy, while his was one that the people he used them on didn’t even notice. And sometimes he yearned for the love the others received, sometimes he wished to experience that adoration.
But mostly he was okay, content with observing.
