Summary
Bradley wakes up late on Tuesday morning. It's the third week of classes and he'd stayed up too late in the lounge with the other guys watching the game. His alarm should have gone off at 7:30, but he probably forgot to set it the night before. He wakes up to a pounding on his door at 8:50, and by 8:55 the world has changed.
Going to war. Uncle Wood says they're going to war and yeah, Bradley thinks to himself dumbly, that makes sense. But if the nation is going to war, his entire family is going with it.

Or: Bradley hasn't spoken to his family in a year, when he stormed out and never looked back. Now, the World Trade Center is in flames and his family is being deployed. Returning home is never simple, but maybe it can start with a phone call.
