“I don’t think I could make all that for just us,” he says. “Although, I doubt Trin would complain about some leftovers coming home.”
“Something else, then,” Robby says. “Whatever you want.”
He holds out an arm, when Dennis doesn’t respond, smile inviting and warm. Dennis goes immediately, climbing onto the top step and slotting naturally into Robby’s side, soft material of his shirt enveloping Dennis in his familiar scent as Robby wraps his arm around his shoulder. Dennis didn’t ask, and Robby would probably deny it if he did, but he’s pretty sure that Robby wore flannel- dark green and grey, sleeves rolled up and unbuttoned at the collar to reveal a gold chain and salt-and-pepper hair, like something straight out of Dennis’s most quakerly wet dreams -because he thought it was farm-appropriate.
“Whatever I want, huh?” Dennis repeats, and Robby pulls him closer, pressing his lips to the top of his head.
“Anything,” he says, into Dennis’s hair.

Summary
Before Dennis could even catch up to what had happened, Robby was gone, the guy still on the ground and shouting something about a lawsuit. The bartender was eyeing him suspiciously, and it seemed like as good a time as any to make his exit.
And now, here he is. Standing on the sidewalk with his arms folded, waiting for the back of Robby’s head to reveal all his secrets as smoke curls up from in front of him.

He brought it in with the mail a few days ago. Alongside bills and bank statements and miscellaneous junk, all addressed to W. Byers and M. Wheeler, there was a half-size flyer. Vague enough, so as to be acceptably distributed where children or bible thumpers or whoever else may find it, but still plenty clear to any worldly adult in what it was advertising. Lonely? in swooping cursive, over a picture of a landline not unlike the one currently in Mike’s sweaty deathgrip laid artfully across silk bedsheets, with a 1-900 phone number printed at the bottom. Your first call is free.
This is so stupid.

Mike, feeling lonely when Will starts working nights at a mysterious new job, turns to an operator on a phone sex line that he feels like he can spill his guts to about all his problems. “Come on, baby, once in a while does not hurt. Rookies say that drunk cigarettes don’t count, have you ever heard that? I think is funny,” Ilya tries, his kisses softer now, trying to work Shane into the soft, pliant mess he loves.
It doesn’t work. In fact – “What’s that, Ilya?”
Ilya is biting anywhere he can find, “I don’t have gun license, so I must be happy to see you.”
But that doesn’t work either. Shane finally moves – only to grab at Ilya’s collar, pulling it so that it digs into the back of his neck, which has Ilya pausing as Shane inspects. “That, Ilya. What’s that.”
or, Shane finds some (perfectly explainable) lipstick on Ilya's collar, and they both go through emotional saw traps

Ilya very slowly lowers himself down on the bed, spine straight. “Why are you calling?”
Pike huffs. “Trust me, I don’t want to be.”
“Okay, then, why? How do you know… Lily?”
A beat. Then, “You’re Lily.”
Protectiveness rears its ugly head. Severely, Ilya declares, “This is none of your fucking concern.”
“He’s asking for you.”
