Summary
Golden rays illuminated the dark room as Frank stirred awake. He looked beside him to be met with a beautiful sight— the sight of Mel sleeping soundly, her hair like a glowing halo.
Her shoulders were littered with freckles that reminded Frank of stars, made more obvious by the rays of sun hitting them. He gently traced them with his calloused finger, a soft smile growing on his face.
Mel stirred, her eyes slowly blinking open. They're still half-lidded as she smiles softly, "G'morning…" she mumbled.
Frank smiles, "Good morning, pretty girl."

Summary
Frank Langdon has been married ever since he started his residency at the Pitt. It was impossible, in fact, to not know this information. Not just because he wears a wedding band, but because he won't shut up about his wife and kids. You would have to be willingly ignoring him to not know.
Despite this, no one has actually met his wife.
No one really questions it, not at first. Not until Trinity Santos opened her mouth and said, "I can't believe someone would marry Frank Langdon."
Donnie starts the bet: why haven't they met Mrs. Langdon yet?
OR: The PTMC staff bet on if Mel King is real, a spy, or Langdon's secret husband. It all goes downhill from there.

Summary
Cassie paused, catching her breath, "Uhm… South 15, Mel—"
Frank didn't wait for her to finish. He stood up and began to briskly walk to South 15. Cassie runs after him, "It really isn't that bad, Langdon—" she tries to explain, but Frank isn't having it.
As he gets closer to south 15, he gets a clearer view of Mel. She wasn't wearing her scrubs, a reminder that she isn't here for a shift, but because something had happened, but what really stood out to Frank was her honey blonde hair.
Her hair that wasn't in its typical braid. Her hair that flowed down her shoulders and her back, looking like molten honey and sin. He wonders what it would feel like to run his hair through it. Would it be soft? It looks soft.
Or: Frank is in denial of his feelings for Mel until he sees her with her hair down.
Or: Frank has a hair kink. And he runs into a wall.
