Summary
“Who said there are no rules?” The storm is close and the promise of rain makes her fingers tremble.
“Come now, Korra, we both know rules are just holding you back.” She turns to see he is already looking at her, gray eyes stoic and knowing and she wonders if he realizes just how much they actually have in common: the ice wielding probender and the confine escaping, curfew breaking, boyfriend kissing Avatar. If only he knew how many rules she has already broken just to be here, just to weather this storm with him. Maybe he does, or maybe he suspects. And even though breaking the rules isn’t how she usually likes to operate, she won't deny the appeal.

General Iroh had been on shore leave for a couple of days now. Being away from the sea meant he finally saw time for his private matters – but it certainly hadn’t been a lie if he had ever claimed things were starting to look boring. Words as such were never spoken and in the lights of what had happened that autumn night, he wouldn’t have dared say such words. Or else it must have seemed like he jinxed the unforeseeable.

As soon as the sun sunk into the bed of the ocean, the clouds above turned an uneasy grey. After meeting with the president, Korra was letting off steam at a small port in a town adjacent to Republic city with Iroh there to listen. There, out in the ocean, the Avatar spotted an ominous light that could have been a spirit. Or it could have been something worse.

After Rowena's brother is killed fighting alongside Théodred, Lady Éowyn calls her to Edoras to help care for an ailing Théoden King and resist the poisonous influence of Gríma. Although she dreads crossing paths with Éomer for the first time since her father persuaded her to break their engagement, Rowena cannot refuse to follow the wishes of her lady and friend.
