“I’m not sharing my room,” Sam mutters, knowing as he says it that it sounds exactly like he’s a fucking ten year old facing a new sibling. Steve hastily makes what Sam thinks is supposed to be an understanding face.
“Of course not,” he says soothingly. “He can bunk in with me, it’s not like we haven’t done it before. It's a twin room, anyway, there's already a spare bed.”
Sam guesses a bigger house is out of the question. Whatever; the three of them have spent eight hours crammed in a Mini, it can’t be that bad.
It’s not that bad. It’s worse.

In which Sam finds Bucky before the events of Civil War, and what they do in Paris has a profound effect on how the next several years of their lives go. Written as a companion story to the films and the series, canon compliant with a whole lot of secret feelings.

So much that Clark hadn’t really thought twice when Perry had said “and Kent, you’ll take the new Wayne foundation piece,” because sure, he liked working the philanthropy stories occasionally. It wasn’t until they’d gotten back to their desks that Lois had burst into a fit of snickering and said “oh, I would pay money to see how you’re going to handle Bruce Wayne for two weeks,” and Clark had realized how majorly screwed he was.

“A Christmas Carol isn’t about a time loop,” Eddie adds unhelpfully.

But the video didn’t end there.
“Can I ask if you’ve ever been with another guy?” she had to ask.
And he, tears visible in his eyes, had to nod.
Just once. Just a single nod.
Why did he have to nod?
“Have you ever told anyone that before?” He shook his head. “Was it different? With a guy?”

“No, not really,” Rozanov said. Some of his teammates laughed, although they mostly looked surprised that Shane was speaking to them at all. Rozanov didn’t laugh, though. “Are you Russian?”
