As he reached the edge of the cliff, Shang Qinghua tried to feel for something over the edge he could use to pull himself up. His hand bumped into something firm and solid that he desperately grabbed onto. Shang Qinghua struggled to climb up, breaths coming out in pants from exertion. And when he looked to see what he was holding onto, he felt his insides drop.
Shang Qinghua felt his entire body trembling as he looked up into the face of the man standing before him. Ink black hair spilled down his shoulders and framed his beautifully sculpted face. He stared down at Shang Qinghua, eyes and demon mark glowing blue in the cold night.- Language:

Summary
Eris struggles with losing his memory due to complications from traumatic brain injuries caused by Beron's abuse. He forgets parts of his life and steps down from the mantle of High Lord. Azriel and their children take care of him the best they can, until he eventually passes away. After losing his mate, Azriel tries to move forward, but eventually dies from a broken heart.
This is a very sad fic, but they love each other very much. Based off a tumblr post and written with permission from the creator of the original idea.
