Summary
The wolf beneath Shane's skin is not some committed leader, intent on controlling others. Yes, his designation fits well with his need to protect those he loves. To protect innocents. But, his alpha status is not the same caliber as Ilya Rozanov's.
In this moment, it's both good and bad news. If Ilya manages to do what his brother has tasked him with, Shane won't suffer too much in changing designations. The pride in him is attached to his accomplishments, not whether or not he can pop a knot. But on the other hand, his flexibility practically guarantees that, with enough time and effort, Ilya will succeed. They will end up permanently mated. All because Shane couldn't sleuth stealthily enough.
Or, Agent Shane Hollander gets caught, cover blown. It's up to Ilya, their confidential informant, to save him. But will the price be worth it?

Summary
One day, a young girl sits on the edge of a well. On this day, she falls in. Then the next, she’s not even a ‘she’ anymore. He’s Peter Pettigrew — doomed to die at the hands of his (betrayed) friend’s son.
Peter is selfish, bitter and brash. He’s not some fairy tale hero, he doesn’t care if everyone around him dies, as long as he lives. The marauders are annoying and childish. Survival is his priority, and he can’t afford to face distractions.
This just makes the fact that soulmates are now apparently a thing all the more godawful.
(And then another day years later he falls into an entirely new impossibility, Remus Lupin in tow, right into the third book of Harry Potter. Smack bang on the other Peter Pettigrew’s grave).
It’s confusing and graceless, and entirely something that would happen to him of all people.

“Never,” Tim had snarled, and lunged, because Robins didn’t give in.
Tim was standing in front of Jason’s memorial. His suit in the glass case, each rip carefully stitched, each bloodstain carefully washed. Tim backed away, straight into Hood’s chest. “What - what are you doing?”
“Putting the newest Robin in his place. Robin is pointless, Tim. Something that should’ve been left in the past after this one-” Hood gestured sharply at Jason’s uniform, which was something he shouldn’t have known about, “- went and died. Children shouldn’t be fighting, trained or not.”
Tim shook his head automatically, halfway to protesting, when Hood pulled the case open, the front sheet of glass swinging like a door. That should be - that should be locked. It took Tim a moment to process what Hood was planning, didn’t realize until Hood carelessly pulled the suit out, watching it spill on the floor, then pushed Tim forward.
Tim had never felt more free than he did flying as Robin, until Robin became another pretty cage.
