Summary
The Inquisitor pressed his lips to the Tevinter’s cheek, resting his forehead against his. His touch was light, delicate, and full of passion. With his fingers at Dorian’s chin, he looked deep into the mage’s eyes. The intensity in that gaze was utterly overwhelming.
“I’ve also wanted to do this, all the time.”
His final words, combined with that look, brought a rush of warmth to the mage’s chest. Dorian stared, spellbound, lost in the beauty of those deep brown eyes and the wonderful feeling of their bodies intertwining again.
“What else?” he asked on impulse.
His mouth felt dry, a shiver running through him. He barely noticed how rough his voice sounded, carrying his desire to have Connor even closer—when something shifted in the Inquisitor’s expression, and in less than a second they were lost in a deep, passionate kiss.

There was a Rift in the sky, demons pouring into the building, and yet a Tevinter mage was fighting them alone as if he did it every day—looking immaculate, smiling at the Herald as he spoke.

Even if he weren’t a Tevinter mage holding a gleaming staff and dressed in flamboyant clothing, Dorian Pavus would never go unnoticed. And he knew it. The way he carried himself—untouchable and unbothered, laughing at everything—was mesmerizing. And for a mage, he was surprisingly muscular. Without a doubt, an extraordinary sight.

The mage scoffed, stepping back while the templar turned around, gently conducting him to the bed.
“You won’t let me-“ then he fell, Connor’s gaze was so penetrating he had forgotten to look back.
“…finish?” the mage whispered, watching Connor support himself on all fours above him, helping him settle in the bed.

Connor watched the show, amused, when he stopped his fork midair, his brow twitched. A detail had caught his attention. “But you’re not facing the balcony.”
A grin spread through Dorian’s face with that question, enjoying the Inquisitor’s cleverness. His tone went even more appealing. “I am perfectly aware of that.”
Connor turned his focus to the lamb, feeling his ears heating.

Inquisitor Connor Trevelyan was a fierce warrior, and a very shy man. Dorian enjoyed how long it took them to actually be together, he was an expert in the game of seduction and loved having control. But he would not say no to having someone in charge for a change...even if he would never show it.
This story takes place right after the scene of Inquisitor and Bull celebrating killing a dragon for the first time. Dorian Pavus expects to spend quality time with his Amatus, finally away from all the slaughtering and politics, and finds the templar indescribably drunk.

Yet, the Fade still held the best company, and his plans were going on with no major trouble. Although he resigned himself to stay, the great amount of Chantry forces around always followed by an attentive Cassandra made him apprehensive to even leave his cabin. Nevertheless, one morning, a dailish researcher would change everything.
