Summary
It’s quiet for a moment, and then the omega asks, “Your name is Felix?”
Felix freezes. He hasn’t given someone his real name in years, and he’s a little shocked it just slipped out. He lets out a breath, hesitates for a split second, and then very deliberately does not take it back.
Instead, he lets his head roll to his left and opens his eyes to look at the person next to him. The omega has uncurled from his tight ball of terror and is looking back at Felix with pretty chocolate brown eyes. He’s about Felix’s age, he can tell, and he’s honestly very cute. “Hi,” Felix says. “Nice to meet you.”
The omega takes in a shaky breath. “I’m Jeongin,” he offers, and bursts into tears.

“Are you sure you want to do this?”
It started as a late night conversation, cuddling inside the crumpled up sheets of their nest. It wasn’t an easy conversation, one that made them feel a bit insecure in their relationship, but also, something that had been boiling under the surface for some time now. They knew something was missing.
“I’m sure.”
They took that small idea, and several awkward conversations later, came up with a plan. It wouldn’t be easy, but they were anticipating that. Finding perfection was impossible. But they wouldn’t stop looking until they at least got close to it.
“Me too.”
With bated breaths, they sent the email, watching as it was delivered to the agent that was supposed to help them. This was a huge moment. And it made the future a little unclear. But regardless of what happened, they would have each other to rely on.
Now they just had to stay patient.

Minho frowns. He knows it’s Jisung. Again.

Hyunjin grins like an idiot and transfers the call because he likes to watch Minho suffer.
“Hey baby.” Jisung breathes heavily into the mic. “I missed your voice. How’s work?”
“I don’t know you.” Minho says flatly. He really needs a smoke break now. “How many numbers do I need to block, Jisung? I don’t understand how you keep getting through.”
A small gasp. “You remembered my name!”

"What do you mean you found a ferret? Just leave it alone," Jisung sighed heavily into the phone. "Why are you freaking out about the ferret?"
Felix didn't even think there were ferrets in the wild - he hadn't even thought about their existence besides when one was directly in front of his face. So, he thought about ferrets very little in his life. But now, the little white creature was staring at him from inside of a bush, teeth bared as Felix tried to put out his hand and 'pspsps' at it like he does to Minho's cats.
"Why is there one out here? I don't want to just leave it out here - it's cold! What if it dies? Then I'll have a ferret death on my conscience! What if it haunts me?" Felix argued.
In which Felix finds an abandoned ferret and brings it home, not knowing it was a ferret that could (sometimes) turn into a(n extremely attractive) man.

Minho glances down silently at the fruit, then back up to Chan a look of confusion on his face. In the end, he tries, “Which do you like?” His voice is soft, contemplative.
“Nuh uh,” Chan denies immediately. “This is about you. Which fruit?”
His hands wring in his lap, over the sheets. He hems and haws for a few moments, his eyes darting between the fruit and Chan. Chan waits patiently for an answer, his face politely blank, not hurrying him. Minho is reluctant to make decisions of his own, so Chan can force him into decision-making.
Minho learns the weight of making decisions. Chan is patient with him as he learns.
