He didn’t sound scared yet. Just confused, unsure of how to approach Minho.
“I'm fine, Kim Seungmin.” He tried to keep his tone normal, but he made the mistake of looking at the beta.
“That’s blood.” He didn't move closer and for a second Minho didn’t know if he wanted him to get closer or to get away. “And petals. Hyung?"
No. This shouldn't be happening.
“I didn't want you to see it...”
Flowers growing in your lungs. It was a myth. At least, It was supposed to be.
It was supposed to be a myth and yet Minho couldn't deny the petals bursting from his throat and slowly killing him.Or: Minho was in love with a beta and thought the beta didn't love him back.

It wasn't just any girl on the town, it was Lee Minho. Jisung had his eyes on her since they were eleven and the hierarchy wasn't strict enough to stop him from messing around with one of his father's peasants kid. She was a wild kid too, dragging the clean Kim Seungmin to meaningless fights and making the boy cry. Jisung had a crush on her before he even knew what a crush was. He saw it happen, he let it happen and he didn't hold any grudge to Seungmin when his best friend –his only real friend, in fact– married the girl he had been in love since childhood.
It had been Seungmin's idea but it had been Jisung's decision.

The door closed with a bang and he pressed the pedal until the road became a blur and Seungmin fumbled for his seatbelt.
"Fuck, slow down, nobody is behind!" The younger said, the seatbelt clicking in, but Minho didn't slow down, hands gripping the wheel. "Hyung! What the fuck? Slow down! Are you crazy?" He shouted towards Minho, voice slightly panicked as he yanked his face mask off.
"Am I crazy?!" Minho said, and Seungmin got goosebumps –not the good kind– all over his skin by the way the older laughed with a dangerously angry glint on his eyes.

Seungmin learns quite a lot about Minho, mostly through the words of his mother. Minho is two years older than him. He lives in Seoul and is a manager at a pet store. He has three cats that are currently being taken care of by Mrs. Lee. He is great with all animals, actually. He is independent and is known as the best handyman of the neighbourhood. He is an amazing cook, he supports charities and likes to dance in his freetime.
If Seungmin was a girl, he probably would’ve thought that Mrs. Lee is trying to set the two of them up.
or: Seungmin goes on vacation to heal from a hearbreak. The guesthouse he's staying at is a bit... peculiar, to say the least.

“Your scent is delicious, your highness. I’ll see you again.”
Before Minho can do anything, Seungmin goes back through the door.
Or: Minho, prince to the Lee family, receives a mysterious, scent-doused poem from an unknown courtesan, and decides to write back. Only after vowing to find him, too, of course.
