Summary
Robby has two choices: end it all now, or take the leap.
--
Thou shalt have no other gods before Me. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them; for I, the Lord thy God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate Me, and showing mercy unto thousands of them that love Me and keep My commandments. Exodus 20:3-6

Summary
It echoes through the hub, over the sound of chatter and work, bringing a hush over the ER as everyone turns to look at what's just made Dennis yip like a scolded dog.
The rush of blood to Robby's face, turning him what he guesses must be a deep lobster red from the feel of it, happens so fast he can only pray he'll pass out and be spared the humiliation of being dragged down to HR right then and there.

Summary
Whitaker turns away from the headstone, just enough that what remains of the setting sun catches on the silver chain around his neck. More specifically, on the object strung from it.
To Jack’s surprise, it isn’t a crucifix after all.
It’s a ring.
Three months after his passing, Jack learns something new about Robby.

Summary
“When he blinked his eyes open, he found Jack and Robby leaning over him, both already dressed, both smiling in a way that made his stomach flip.
“Morning, puppy,” Robby murmured, nudging Dennis gently upright and kissing the tip of his nose.
Dennis squinted at them, still foggy with sleep. “What time is it?”
“Late enough,” Jack said lightly, tossing a folded bundle of clothes onto Dennis’s chest. “Get up. We’re taking you to breakfast.””
