Jinx sighed and pulled her sister to face her.
“Is it? It's not like they like us here. Everyone wants to kill me, they already killed Vander once, and even your topsider girlfriend hits you in the face. You really gotta stop blocking with that by the way. Isn't that right, big guy?” She said, patting Vander on the shoulder. The wolf man gave a low grumble as if in agreement. Vi barely wondered how Jinx knew about Caitlyn's action, because those words hit like a familiar punch in the gut. Caitlyn’s betrayal was still fresh in her mind, despite her attempts to wipe the thought of it away with booze and blunt force trauma.
“I say, leave the Pilties and the Noxies to their stupid game. We got the fam here. What more do we need? Haven't you ever wanted to see a forest?”
OR
Instead of going to Viktor's commune, Jinx convinces Vi to leave with her and Isha and Vanderwick. As they travel to new lands, Vi learns more about herself and her relationship with her family.
