An explosive incident leaves Steve and Tony believing that they are dead. However, there seems to be something holding them on Earth, instead of allowing them to move on, and until they figure out what that is – at least in Steve’s case, because Tony doesn’t think he deserves anything better – they’ll have to work together. They also discover they may have been oblivious to each others’ feelings while they were still alive.

Steve is a clumsy and failed wizard, working as a shop-hand for potion master Erskine. One evening, an accident involving pixie dust and changeling hair turns him into a 6’ 3'’ Adonis. Of course, the first thing he does is go to Erskine so he can get changed back, but as fate would have it, he stumbles across Tony who doesn’t realize he’s the same Steve who has been selling him potion ingredients for the past three years.
Surely, it’s not right to accept to go on a date with a man who doesn’t recognize him and who doesn’t know Steve has been magically transformed. … Right?
