Summary
Sakura is abducted on a mission by a rogue nin. He reveals himself to be about the same age as she is, but is very cagey about most other details of his life. However they form a strong bond in their short time together, stronger in fact than any of the bonds with her assigned teammates from her village. She manages to escape, returns home and works over the next few years to be a stronger, more capable ninja. But she never forgets him.
A summer encounter with the rogue nin results in an even stronger friendship with him than before. But that bond is shaken to the core when a mission goes terribly wrong. Both betrayed, Sakura turns to her true teammates, strengthening her ties to her village. And the rogue sheds his former identity and turns fully into the life that had been prepared for him.
Years later, when a chance encounter turns into a nightmare battle, the Akatsuki's newest member, a young blonde mercenary, has to make a hard choice. Will he keep his identity hidden yet let the pink-haired girl die in his arms? She rolled her left shoulder, itching for the familiar weight of her prosthetic arm. It was part of the deal, of course. She had to be unarmed, quite literally.

This is a collection of various Powder and Ekko themed flashbacks/stories, ranging from one-shots to multi-parts or full part chapters. There will be chapters dealing with just one of them or the other, as well as any kind of Timebomb content (meaning, chapters with both of them, together). It's to dig into the very adorable and dorky friendship the two very clearly possessed, as well as what might have been like for them during their childhood, before everything turned to shit. And yes, if it's not clear, there will be Ekko x Powder! It's just not the ONLY focus (but it is in my heart <3).
The perspectives will vary by chapter, so you will see chapters from Vander, Vi, Powder, Ekko etc etc. You MAY also see the same chapter through a different POV! Please note that all chapters are connected and may shift in "time".

Silco felt wrath, pride, and respect battle within him as he witnessed the small band of Firelights—only 5 members strong, and not much older than children judging by their size—decimate his men and destroy yet another shipment of shimmer. Thousands of gold cogs wasted, money that would have been used to build his empire until it could stand against Piltover's council, and yet as he watched the green streaks through the sky, he couldn't help but think these Firelights were Zaunite to their core. These young rebels embodied the spirit of Zaun almost as much as his own daughter, Jinx.
He glanced down at her now, only to pause at the still expression on her face. Her gaze tracked one of the masked figures unerringly—the leader, if Silco was reading their dynamics right—eyes just a bit too wide, and her fingers twitched by her side. He'd seen her get like this before, when she was confronted with her past.
She knows him.
An idea begins to take shape in Silco's mind.

Summary
It has been seven years after the Battle of Piltover. Ekko has been chosen to be Sevika's successor in the Council once she retires—despite their many differences, the opportunity to futurely represent Zaun being an honour. However, as things settle and the need to gather and survive is no longer his forethought, he becomes overwhelmed by all the hurt he cast away over the years to be able to lead. And he needs to take a step back, in order to take a leap forward.
Or: Ekko goes on a trip. A chance meeting, the opportunity to reconnect, and to build something new follow.

Under the mask of the Blue Phoenix, enemies became friends, and her life grew more complicated than ever.
(In ATLA, Zuko wears his Blue Spirit mask and goes out to do secret stuff. In this fic, Jinx does the same thing and accidentally befriends the Firelights.)
This is largely a story about Powder/Jinx's growth. Timebomb takes a LONG time to kick in.

“It’s what I could find. The people who sell to you and the people that sell to me are vastly different, darling. Besides, it’s wings, does it really matter what bug they come from?” A small huff from Yangyang followed by a deep blush probably meant that yes, it did matter, but part of Jaemin just really loved riling the other up just to see his cute and adorable reactions.
(Jaemin discovers that maybe his beautiful Witch Yangyang might actually like him back, and plays it to his advantage in an almost disastrous potion-making session)
