Summary
When Shane learns that Ilya's plane has crashed and he doesn't even know who Ilya's emergency contact is or if Ilya's alive, he has a stunning realization that Ilya dying without anyone knowing what they are to one another would be a torment.
Ilya is injured in the plane crash, Shane does a lot of coming out.
“I love you,” says Shane, “I love you so fucking much, Ilya. And when you’re less loopy, I think we need to talk about how the stupid plan doesn’t work anymore.”
Ilya’s mostly out of it by now, but he snorts, “Hollander wants to deviate from plan? Must be very serious for me, yes?”
