Instead of flustering further like expected, though, Chuuya just grins, sharp and confident. “Yeah. And as a certified gorgeous person, I deem you just as gorgeous, gorgeous.”

Dazai's going to need a very good explanation, and possibly a rescue plan. In that order.

Summary

Married to each other and ignorant of their double lives, Chuuya and Dazai are on opposite sides of a war years in the making. Too bad they don’t know it’s their spouse they are fighting, though they will soon find out.

Summary
Dazai hated Christmas.
It wasn’t even a justified hate either, if he was honest. He had plenty of trauma to be perfectly in the right to hate a lot of things, but Christmas was not among them. There was no tragic event linked to the holiday whatsoever.
He just…hated it.
Perhaps it was the hypocritical attitude most people took on during these festive days. Everyone tried to be just a little nicer. “Spread the warmth” and all that garbage. If they were an asshole the rest of the year, there wasn’t much value in behaving nicely for only a few days.
Or maybe it was the fact that everyone expected him to be fine and happy and giddy even more so than was expected of him usually. Keeping up his carefree, happy trickster façade took a lot of energy as it was, but during Christmas especially, his colleagues would scold him just a little harder for talking about suicide and the like.
Regardless of his reasons, Dazai hated Christmas. That much was fact.
‘Oi, stop daydreaming and help me put these decorations up!’
And of course, then there was Chuuya.
Chuuya loved Christmas.

Dazai doesn’t have time to react before Chuuya slams him against the wall, the rough brick pressing against his spine. The redhead is breathing heavily, his face flushed from the wine and eyes blazing with emotions Dazai can’t interpret, and with a vicious sort of satisfaction he thinks for a moment that he’s finally done it. That he’s pushed Chuuya too far, that he’s finally going to get what he deserves–
But then Chuuya yanks Dazai down by his tie and kisses him.

The never-ending and fruitless saga of Nakahara Chuuya trying to seduce the man who has been head over heels in love with him for years, and who he is in a happy committed relationship with. It's such a shame really, that his partner has bad taste and can't appreciate how good looking Chuuya is.
It isn't really about looks. He just wants to know that Dazai loves him enough to make him stupid.
(The seduction fic, in which there is very little seduction and even less common sense, but Soukoku seem to be happy, and that's all that matters)
