Summary
It’s like that; quiet, unostentatious, hidden in a passageway somewhere deep inside the castle. Dean’s friendship with Séamus was never loud. They were children when they first fell in love and they’re not much more than that now, sitting in the ruins of where they grew up.

It's warm. The days are still grey and rainy but when the evenings taper off into ten, fifteen degree temperatures, summer is well and truly noticeable.

Summary
In the war, Dean holed up in hollows and friendly attics and Muggle pubs. He drew Umbridge the Toad, noseless Voldy confused by the last dozen plus years of wizardly pop culture, the Ministry of Magic with its fingers stuffed in its stuffy ears.
He drew Snape as Headmaster, his sneer easy after seven years of notebook margin practice. Dean drew the Dark Mark over London’s skyline and he left his work nailed up around Diagon Alley, Hogsmeade, Godric’s Hollow. He signed his name. He had things he wanted to say.
There were long days when he didn’t talk to anyone– walking old fields and long roads, sleeping in haystacks. There were long weeks when he only talked to strangers– passersby, shop owners, sympathizers, snatchers who he traded curses with.
He drew the Gryffindor Common Room, hearths all ablaze. He listened to Lee Jordan’s radio show on the crackling airwaves. He drew his little sisters, who had gone to France with his mother and father. He drew faces from the darkened boys’ dormitory– Harry’s long bangs hiding his scar, Neville practicing his dance moves for the Yule Ball, Ron asleep with his head on his thick Weasley sweater, Seamus grinning at him over a three a.m. game of cards.

Summary
[Trans!Ron; Ron/Hermione, various pairings] He learned his lesson a long time ago. Boys are boys, girls are girls. And Ron, Ron makes a good boy. He's tall, sturdy, manly, not like some of those long-haired Slytherins he sometimes mistakes for girls when they slink in the dark corridors with their robes floating behind them. He plays Quidditch. He loves Hermione, with a little too much intensity and adoration for a boy his age, but that's what constant brushes with death do to you. He shaves; he doesn't jerk off, granted, but apart from that, he's pretty much the poster boy for healthy, honest masculinity.
So why is it, then - why is it he can't believe it, not for one second?

Summary
He's unsure of when it started, but it must have been a while. Otherwise, he would've noticed.
A strong, muscled shoulder.
Veined forearms and hands. With rough, firm looking fingers.
Thick thighs.
A birthmark right beneath the corner of the jaw, so it stretches with every movement of the neck.
Collarbones, under a loosely buttoned, school issued shirt and tie.
And freckles everywhere.
Dean had never noticed just how many freckles Seamus had. It used to be an ordinary, matter-of-fact thing, on par with the sky being blue and Malfoy being a fucking tosser. And then suddenly, the fact expanded itself into an enormous, bottomless pit of questions Dean was fairly sure he wasn't supposed to be pondering. Especially considering he had a nearly daily access to a naked body of a beautiful, unbelievably fit girl and hadn't once felt the need to count her freckles. An exploration of Seamus and Dean, fourth to sixth year.
