Summary
Swinging a bottle of Chivas Regal between his fingers Jason eyed him. He spoke like the last time they’d seen each other they hadn’t been tearing each other’s clothes off with their teeth, like Dick was just another guest. ‘They’re cutting the cake.’
‘Surprised to see you,’ said Dick, who told himself he absolutely couldn’t feel a slow syrupy heat sliding over his skin as their eyes locked, who told himself he should be irritated, hell, pissed off that the other man had been ignoring him for weeks.
Jason and Dick have been dancing around each other for months now. Whatever they are, they don't talk about. But perhaps it's finally time to.
Every good confession starts with a skateboarding accident...

Summary
It should worry the hell out of him, the way he could stare at the man’s hands as they tore through muscle, broke bone, and crave to have them running through his body, fingernails digging in and still bloody. It has made him become a part of something bigger in the worst possible way, outside of the carefully built system that saves lives and takes them, never for selfish reasons. Because he would kill for that man without an order, against an order, control slipping through his fingers like a weight tied to a rope, burning the bare skin of his palms.
For a few moments, they just sit there, side by side, the only sounds being the distant buzzing of the generator and the trickle of soft rain against the safehouse’s ventilation system.
“Soap.”
“Simon.”
Ghost looks at him. His eyes lack the usual edge, replaced by something Soap might dare to call doubt, that was directed to him in rare, quiet moments.
“Soaking my shirt up won’t dry up yours.”
Or; their car dies out in the middle of nowhere. They make the most of the time they have while waiting for aid.

Summary
Jason is worried about Dick. There's too much on his brother's shoulders (for all Dick would never admit it), and no one else seems to care. After a helmet modification turned practical joke, Jason decides to make that making it Dick's problem might be the only way to look out for his brother. What he doesn't realize is that Dick is looking back.
Dick finally lowered his hands, brushing a clump of hair off his face, which slumped into a serious expression. For a moment, the man he’d become in the wake of Bruce’s death took his place, hair brutally murdered in pursuit of matching the look of a dead man, Atlas defeated by the weight of the world. Then he turned and took in Jason completely, from the top of his white-stained head all the way to his boots.
“Is that… Are those cat ears?”
Or: 5 times Jason tried to be there for Dick, and 1 time Dick returned the favour.

So, Soap’s a big guy. Obviously.
He’s not overly tall, but he’s wide in the shoulders and thick in the thighs. He’s the kind of big that’s naturally built all over: training muscles on top of mission muscles on top of an innate bulk.
He’s the kind of big that makes him immovable to most guys.
The kind of big that’s always been -ger than most everyone else—if not by height, than at least by heft.
So when they’re on mission and Ghost spots a grenade before Soap does, and, with no time to warn him, grabs him by the waist and flings him back behind cover, gear and all, Soap’s really not expecting to think much about it, aside from maybe, ‘Oh, shit.’
What he thinks instead is: ‘Oh-hmm.’
And then, in rapid succession: ‘Big.’

Dick kisses him again—fast and mean, all tongue and teeth—and Jason can’t help but meet his challenge in kind, groaning into it, gaining enough leverage to pull his hands down and sink his fingers back into that stupid fucking tunic. Gripping harder as he watches his hand eclipse the R patch as he yanks at it, hard enough to hear it strain. Feels it start to give—
But that isn’t what he wants.
His grip falters. Not because he’s afraid of breaking it—no this suit will be ashes by the end of the night—but because he needs it to stay on for now. Wants Dick in this exact goddamn outfit, grinning like a menace, pressed up against him, stretched around his cock with it still there.
The fabric creaks, and Dick laughs into his mouth, biting his lower lip hard enough to sting.
“Tell me it’s stupid,” Dick breathes, dragging their foreheads together. “Tell me you hate it.”
Jason tries.
He really does.
But what falls out of his mouth borders on pathetically desperate: “I’m gonna fuck you into it.”]
