“Kugisaki, that’s like, kinda rude of you.” Itadori waves a finger at her.
“I have friends!” Gojo laughs, slapping at the board again as he ignores the two’s tussling. Megumi withers into his seat. “I do have friends. I have friends.”
Megumi arches an eyebrow at him. “Saying it thrice undermines the validity of your statement.”
“So rude, Megumi! But really, Suguru was my moral compass. He was so great! So great. Absolutely awesome. It’s really too bad he went genocidal.”
That Gojo can talk so casually about his ex-best friend, ex-something more is a cause of great amusement to some and concern for others. And great annoyance for all, undeniably.

All of this would be a whole lot simpler if the Great Dragon in the basement wasn't such a bloody nuisance.

For some reason, Pierre looked much less surprised than Charles expected.

That would be an undestatement.
They were both drunk, so the memories were hazy, but they were there, and Charles wanted more.
But he couldn't.
It was a mistake.
Charles was a mistake.
It didn't matter. He had a championship to fight for, two more races with Carlos before he left Ferrari and a much-needed winter break to enjoy. He didn't have the time to worry about his stupid sexuality.
Except that Max had promised they would meet again, once the season ended.
In Vegas.
Charles had to survive until then.
If that night meant anything, if Charles wasn't just a pretty face to celebrate a championship with, it wasn't up to him.

He realizes it’s the secondhand embarrassment as he watches Max shamelessly grin at James and proudly explain that he was just talking to Charles.
Lance has to resist the urge to roll his eyes, especially when he notices how Charles is quite literally the embodiment of the heart eyes emoji where he’s standing next to Max for his entire interview. And the beeline Charles makes for Max as soon as he hands the microphone to Lance after his P2 interview is even worse than the heart eyes.
He definitely should have been paying attention to that group chat, Jesus fucking Christ.

Summary
After Arthur disobeyed his father and retrieved the Mortaeus flower for Merlin's cure, Arthur's frantic pleading to save Merlin led to a misunderstanding that actually convinced Uther to take the flower to Gaius.
Now all Arthur has to do is explain to Merlin why Uther thinks they are lovers.
And while Uther is supportive of the relationship, he requires it kept secret. But in his paranoia, Uther misinterprets every innocent interaction between the two as something far more intimate, to the embarrassment of everyone involved.
And then the knights begin showing up...

Arc 1 - (chapters 1-32, 90k words) What happens when you accidentally tell your father you're gay and in love with Merlin and he ships it hard? You make it true.
