Summary
She walks up like six paintings and a speaker, smiling happy and red. ENA is the kind of entity you’d see in a hotel lobby, or knocking on your front window with a cart full of goods, or scuttling upside-down in a lost cavern full of garbage, like any good salesperson. With the vending machine on the fritz (he’s throwing a tantrum about Kane giving him strange gold discs instead of chocolate), it’s good to have a salesperson around, someone who will do odd tasks for you. We’re sure you have a job for her. Don’t you?

Bookmarker's Notes
Interesting. Great sense of atmosphere, but whilst I do not disdain open endings I do think (presently, maybe I’ll change my mind when I’m less tired) that this could’ve had a bit more direction provided indirectly by the atmosphere. Good execution, but feels just-stillborn.
That said, I do think it’s written fantastically and that I’m likely not appreciating it right now so much as I should on a re-read.
Note to self: Definitely re-read.

Summary
Less than a year before its ruin, tensions within the Jedi Order reach a new high after the Battle of Umbara.
Thon Taddeo Pfardentrott, a young Padawan of middling talent, finds herself trapped between the time-tested rhetoric of her master and the radical idealism of her peers. Unsure what to make of it all, she finds herself a new friend in Barriss Offee.
As the Clone Wars rage on, the older Padawan gives Thonny a new perspective of the galaxy, forever altering the trajectory of her life.

Bookmarker's Notes
concerns the perspective of an indecisive Padawan interacting with an anti-war group of Jedi (primarily Barriss Offee, as of yet, which is fun) and her otherwise-persuaded Master during the Clone Wars
quite funny - prose is also pretty good. political commentary is pretty unsubtle, but i've faith in its good execution

Summary
There's a hundred and four days in summer vacation, and Sunny's determined not to waste them all playing League of Legends this time.
A story about apathy, suburban rot, and a lifelong loser at the bottom rung of the social hierarchy wondering why nobody seems to care that the world’s gone to shit.
(Oh, and Mari’s still alive, I guess)

Bookmarker's Notes
woag. i was reading through my bookmarks and saw a massive review which, i'm fairly sure, was written under the influence of a veritable deluge of alcohol.
i will shill this fic though - it is, to the best of my knowledge, the best-written longform work in the entire fandom. it's got a very good sense of comedy, an extremely compelling internal monologue, wonderful mid-20th-century sci-fi absurdism, and threads the needle of complementing the game's setting well whilst being almost entirely its own thing - circumventing the derivative nature of fanfiction extremely nicely. It's got lovely characterisation and good moral messaging - what else can you want, really? Read it.

The remainder of the recording plays out for the next minute, but the audio and video are nothing but static.
