Summary
The smart lock on his front door trilled, and Raph’s rant instantly cut off, the room falling deadly silent. Leo locked eyes with his brother, and it was clear that Raph hadn’t been expecting anyone else; a quick glance at Takeshi confirmed the same. Like a well-oiled machine, they prepared for an attack—Raph slipped on his brass knuckles, Tiger Claw drew his gun from its holster, and Leo deeply regretted not getting one of his guns from the bedroom when he had a chance. Leo watched, unbreathing, unblinking, as the front door swung open.
Not an enemy.
Hamato Saki. Head of the Hamato family, a subsidiary of the Tatsuo clan. Second in command of the Tatsuo clan, just under the kumichō. Both Leo’s blood father and his oath father.
In a world where the Hamato clan is a yakuza family and the turtles are human, Saki succeeds in killing Hamato Yoshi. Hamato Shen leaves for New York with Donnie and Mikey—leaving Leo and Raph behind. Over 15 years they became the Hamato family's most deadly members, until an assassination attempt sends them out of the country to protect a barely-remembered mother and brothers.

Which is probably why it was a little too easy for him to accept the invitation to a party that is completely out of his comfort zone. There's loud music, lukewarm beer, and too many people.

Midnight. The same time Rose got off work.
Which wouldn't matter to most people, because most people didn't walk their girlfriend's home every single night like some sort of lost duckling. But Leo wasn't most people, in more ways than one.
Raph eats takoyaki with his nee-san(-to-be) and definitely nothing else happens.

Summary
“Raph?” His whisper is soft, tentative, as he kneels down beside his brother’s bed. Leo reaches out a hand to help, but realizes with a little bit of shame that he doesn’t actually know what’s wrong.
A clipped whine leaves Raph’s throat, and it’s enough to send all the nerves in Leo’s body to red alert. Something primal and instinctual activates in his chest, forcing him to find the cause of pain and fix it, because Raph should never make that sound. That sound is born of hurt and fear, and it should only be for other people, not Leo’s little brother.
Or: The aftermath of Raph's broken ribs from Tottmnt episode 3. Apparently not telling anyone about an injury only brings chaos in the middle of the night.

“It’ll be good for us, too,” Donnie says, half on autopilot, and then looks around at the gray-brown walls and the red-orange lamp and the halfhearted scene laid out by- well, by him by and large, because Donnie started this conversation, didn’t he? Donnie pushed and pried and pulled even though Raph didn’t want to speak, because Donnie never did figure out when enough was enough. Hubris is what they called that, once upon a time. These days it's just a dick move.
Oh well. Either way. You make your bed, you lie in it, and as it is that doesn’t seem all that bad an idea at the moment, so without thinking about it too much he adds: “Eventually.”

“Michelangelo?”
Mikey’s head snaps up like a rubber band, so fast it hurts his neck. His father is standing in the doorway, whole and unharmed and strong. He tilts his head, taking in the probably dumb way Mikey is just standing there staring up at him.
He’s alive. In this moment, in this memory, he’s alive. But just a minute ago he was dying, he was choking on blood and then he was gone, and no matter how many times Mikey cried for him he didn’t come back.
Mikey’s chest feels like it’s closing around all his squishy insides like a fist. It’s really hard to breathe in a way that isn’t just desperate gulping gasps for air, so he holds his breath. It’s a good and useful thing that aquatic turtles can do it for a long time.
“I thought you and your brothers had left already,” the rat says mildly.
“We did? I mean, uh, yeah, we did,” Mikey says. He watches Splinter’s expression tighten in tiny inscrutable ways, and knows he didn’t do a very good job of sounding normal. So he clears his throat and finds a lopsided smile and tries again. “I just had to come back for something.”
