He pulls her closer. Slides his hands up, curls his fingers under the straps of her dress and tugs it down. She shivers under the touch of his fingertips and her hand comes up to halt his.
“Wait. Barry, I don't want to give the neighbors a show.”
“Yeah, yeah. Okay.”
A few whooshes later and he completely closes the curtains, cuts the lights, and lit some candles. Sealing the room in flickering light.
He commandeers a few bouquets of white roses from the flower shop down the street. Makes a trail with the petals from where Iris is standing leading to the pallet on the floor he made with his coat and cardigan.
“Wow.”
“You like it?”
“Yes .”

His band is on life support, his report card looks like a horror movie, and the only way he’s allowed to play Battle of the Bands is if he drags his grades out of the crypt.
Enter Regina George—former queen bee, and currently running a rebrand from “terrifying” to “tolerable.” She needs a public image refresh and a boyfriend who screams “I have layers.” While he needs tutoring, a parole officer for his homework, and someone who can bully him into passing senior year.
A deal is struck: fake dating for optics; makeover (for his report card) in exchange for another makeover (but this time for her soul… allegedly if she does have one that is).

He tilted her chin up with two fingers, smirk razor sharp. He leaned in, nose brushing hers, voice rough at the edges. “Oh yeah?" His hand tightened on her waist, dragging her closer. His voice dropped to a whisper, hot against her mouth, “Princess, you kissed me like that because you’ve been aching for it. For weeks." He brushed his lips over hers, not kissing. Taunting. "Kinda cute how one set was all it took to get you climbing me.”
