Summary
Midoriya Izuku attracted trouble. It was just a fact of life – the sky was blue, the grass was green, and Izuku constantly found himself in an absurd number of deadly situations.
He was okay with that. Mortal peril was an average Tuesday afternoon for a Pro Hero like him. Being kidnapped was practically a holiday. Saving civilians as a building collapsed around him was easier than facing his worried mum later. He had dealt with All Might's disappointed dad stare and only cried for two hours afterwards.
A serial killing villain with an unknown Quirk would be no problem!
...but even Izuku had to admit that being sent back in time to his first day at UA wasn't on the agenda. Still, there was no-one more spitefully determined than him – he was going to make the most of it.
Yeah, good luck, heroes and villains alike! Deku was here to cause mischief and love his friends!

He won't.
Shouta is a hero that takes in the worst kids to give them a chance to fix their life. It doesn't always work, but it's his job. Students or fosters, he's usually just a passing teacher in their life.
He isn't.

Kids of Izuku’s age wake up slowly. That’s what he’s heard. They wake to soft light through curtains, to a parent leaning over them with a gentle smile. A kiss pressed to their forehead. A warm hand cupping their cheek. A quiet voice telling them it’s time to get up, that breakfast is ready, that they’ll be late for school if they don’t hurry. They stretch. They complain. They roll over and steal five more minutes under the blankets. Somewhere in the house, plates clink and something warm sizzles in a pan.
That’s what normal mornings are supposed to be. Izuku doesn’t remember the last time he slept without fear.

Ever since he was very young, Izuku has been used by the Hero Commission for his healing quirk. Instead of going to school or growing up with a family, he’s forced to spend his days healing heroes in critical condition and enduring experiments. Summary
He heard a scream, his hair spinning around him as he looked for the source. His friend and guard, Eijiro, was falling, his torso a sickly red as knees buckled. Izuku fought harder. He was nearly overrun by the demons, and his betrothed had yet to make it to his side.
Only when he looked up, Katsuki had turned, fighting his way to Eijiro's side instead, heedless of the fact that Izuku would perish without his help. In that moment, Izuku realized that the whispers around the blonde's lands had been truth. Katsuki had been betraying him.
He lowered his sword, lost as the pain and confusion swept away the battle from his thoughts. He couldn't see the demons closing in on him anymore, but he did hear the rough voice calling out, silencing them.
"Stop."
Izuku glanced up, his emerald eyes finding fully black ones. He sucked in a breath. The Demon King himself walked steadily closer, a path creating itself out of his followers as he stepped up in front of Izuku.

Midoriya Izuku was a hero fanboy, all the way. He still had his doubts over how perfect heroes were, but that didn't stop him from dreaming! Even if he was quirkless, and everyone said he couldn't, he still hoped he could become a hero.
All that changed the day his best friend told him to jump off a roof, his Hero crushed his dreams, and all his faith in hero society shattered.
He now had a new dream. If society said he couldn't be a hero, he would be the one to destroy it, instead.

When Izuku next opened his eyes, he wondered if this was the afterlife, if the babbling laughter and shrieks of pure joy were reminiscent of the scattered memories from when he was four.
Over the noise he heard the harsh sound of clapping that encouraged him to look up. At the front of his 1st grade classroom was a teacher with short blond hair. She smiled sweetly at them.
Izuku remembered her, she had reached out after he became a hero, extending her joy. She had been such a nice person.
When the memory refused to move forward, Izuku found himself frowning, flexing his hands to see if he could.
They moved.
Bile surged up his throat, burning as it forced its way out onto the sticky carpet.
There were screams around him.
He felt himself be scooped up by the teacher. His body was detached from his mind. His eyes flitted over every face and surface, wondering why he wasn't joining Aizawa in the afterlife.
Why was he back?

By twelve, Izuku understood the truth—no one was coming to save him.
So, he became Ghost.
Silent, unseen, and unnoticed, he moved through the city’s underbelly, doing what heroes wouldn’t. No quirk, no support—just sheer will. If the world refused to fight for someone like him, then he’d fight for himself and for those who had no one else.
But then they came.
Yamada Hizashi and Aizawa Shouta. Two pro heroes who didn’t look at him with disappointment or pity. They didn’t see a problem to be ignored or a burden to be passed along. They saw him—just Izuku Midoriya, a quirkless orphan who had been failed time and time again.
But Izuku had been surviving on his own for so long. He had built walls no one had ever tried to break through before. They didn’t know who he really was, what he had done, what he had become.
And he wasn’t sure if there was anything left of him to save.
