Summary
“You know, Captain, in most cultures it’s considered rude to stare.”
Luffy seems to snap out of a trance as he turns to look at Robin. A fond look casts her beautiful features, Nami side eyes him from her seat beside Robin but doesn’t rip into him so he thinks it can’t be that rude. So he glances back towards Torao as the Heart Captain discusses something with the bear guy. “I’m not staring,” Luffy mutters as an afterthought. He’s sure Torao doesn’t mind anyways.
After all he just looks so pretty all the time, and Luffy has never denied himself the things that he enjoys. Looking at Torao is just so nice! It makes his heart beat extra hard, like before a great adventure. Especially when Torao wears his shirt open. His tattoos stand out so nice against his bronzed skin. The yellow of his shirt is reflecting in his eyes making them look extra golden. So Luffy looks, Torao doesn’t seem to notice.
Law absolutely notices.

The first time Luffy told Law that he loved him, it was a bright and brilliant day, and Law, very eloquently, had tucked his arms protectively over his stomach, and said, “Don’t say stupid shit that’ll get you killed."
And Straw Hat, being Straw Hat, didn’t react with hurt feelings but rather bewilderment and bluster, yelling, “Hey, what’s the big deal? I’m just saying that I love y-”
It left Law’s mouth before he could think about reconsidering: “STOP.”
The first time Monkey D. Luffy tells Trafalgar Law that he loves him, it doesn't go as well as it should. Law overthinks it, Luffy underthinks it, and somehow it works out.

Summary
Zoro was well aware of the bottomless pit that was his captain’s stomach and the frenzy that overtook when he was eating. He had seen him consume the very plates the food was served on, silverware, candles and part of a table. He had seen him do things no person should be able or want to do and then learned that he did said things for the stupidest reasons.
Zoro knew Luffy was a little freak who thought and did little freaky things.
However he never expected this…
