    Summary

Vienna, 1760s. Roderich von Edelstein, heir to an old house, has been given a Swiss Guard: Basch Zwingli, soldier, shadow, vow. Duty says they must stand apart. Desire makes the distance unbearable. What begins with buttoned collars and borrowed silence unravels into something neither of them should want—and both of them can’t let go of.

    Summary

He lent the Moon his light.

Even if he meant he'd shine a little softer…

Even if it meant he'd never shine again.

That's just how the Sun was, selfless, he would give more than he had.

The Moon can only reflect what the Sun has shone.

For she is nothing without his glow.

One day, the Moon hopes to repay the Sun for the brilliant luminescence that he so graciously gave her.

Though, she's afraid she may have lost her chance, that she may have run out of time.

She had taken for granted what she was lent, taken for granted the liveliness the Sun gave her.

    She's cold now.

And it's so dark she can no longer see a thing.
