The Megido manor was a pretty thing, with stained glass windows that let the Alternian’s sunlight into the rooms below. It was situated on top of a high rise that looked down into the hives below. The way the light shone through the manor was one of the key features of the place, showcasing the warmbloods acceptance of the sun.
Karkat fucking hated it.
