He also thought he might hate it. But then he meets his instructor Castiel and discovers more benefits to the practice than he ever expected.

Summary
This is almost too easy.
Despite being able to feel every tiny shift when you walk and occasionally worrying the damn thing is going to slip right out if you stand for too long, you’re not feeling particularly bothered. Granted, the vibrator inside you has yet to be turned on, but you were a little concerned that just knowing it was there would be enough to work you up.
Actually, this whole setup is so cliché it makes you wonder if you should be reconsidering your life choices.

“I want you to beat Gojo.” He said. “Tokyo plays Calgary in the IDS. To start, are you familiar with those forechecking traps that completely shut down star players? The ones specifically designed to cage showboats like Gojo?"

There aren't all that many safe routes off Alternia for a mutant, but signing on to the Imperial Gladiatorial League has worked out pretty fucking well for Karkat Vantas. Turns out trolls all across the universe will pay out the nose for a chance to see The Hotblood bleed red.
Earth is just the next stop in Karkat's never-ending arena circuit, and the Strider Brothers are just another pair of opponents. And getting up close and personal with alien anatomy is just another perk of touring.
