Summary
Well, it wasn't fault if you think of it, really. It's not as if I set out to become an undead zombie assassin child. And it's not like I asked to be a gainful employee (re. Slave) of the Court of Owls. But when I delivered my own severance package by severing their heads (like, all of them), I found myself at a bit of a loss as to what to do next. Sleeping in a linen closet can only provide so much comfort, after all. But luckily I was about to meet a starving street child with standards and, unbeknownst to myself, he was brother shaped.

Or Talon!Dick leaves the Court of Owls and encounters a starving Jason on the streets.

Summary
What is Hood doing here? They had a truce. They don’t bother Hood, Hood doesn’t bother them. Dick had been-- happy. With the terms. Happy that he didn’t have to worry about finding his surviving brother broken and bleeding on the ground again. Happy that he didn’t have to watch Hood spit in the face of everything Jason believed in, happy that he can pretend that Hood never appeared in the first place. That his little brother didn’t come back so horribly, horribly wrong.
Hood’s gun shines where it points at the Clock King’s face, and Dick does his best to hold back the urge to vomit.
Dick lets out a long, slow breath, “Hood–”
Hood flinches, “Night–”
Pain explodes in his back, and his world goes white.
He wakes up in the Titans tower.
Or
Dick accidentally gets sent back five years in the past, before Jason died. It's up to him to save his little brother, and maybe learn to see him in a different light.

This was a bad idea, but so was dressing up as a bat to fight crime, and that had saved a lot of lives. That was what Dick was doing, too: saving lives. Even if by 'lives' he meant multidimensional lives, and by multidimensional lives he meant, really, one Jason Peter Todd.
Dick gets his hands on a dimensional transporter, which means there's only one thing to do: save as many versions of his little brother as possible.
