    “After so much death and destruction, I never thought I would bring life into this world.”

    “You believe him to be yours?” It was not a mere question of relation, but the possibility of this boy being their master’s direct progeny. Uraume was doubtful in comparison. Rarely had they observed their master indulge in carnal desires without satiating a different hunger afterward. When had there been an opportunity for his prey to escape? The answer was never. Yet, Uraume would concede that they did not know Sukuna all his life. Given their current estimations of the boy’s age, it would mean he was spawned well before Uraume had pledged themselves to their master’s side. Still…

    “His cursed energy and strength alone… The hatred he carried felt far too personal. If not for dishonoring his mother, then what? Not that I could possibly remember who she could be…”

    Summary

    Sukuna mistakes a half-awake Yuji for a Kami, but he's technically correct given that said Kami made Yuji their vessel.
    But poor Yuji doesn't know that. He thinks he's lying. It's a good thing he isn't, because our boy is a pretty bad liar.

    He couldn’t call out to Sukuna like he used to. Yuji feared he no longer understood the curse, if he ever truly knew him at all. He’d been too naïve for his own good, but when fear was breaking down the last of his walls, all Yuji could do was shuffle toward the curse, one hand tugging on his clothes, and beg for him to reconsider. 

    “A-Aniki… Don’t go away.”

    As soon as the words slipped out between Yuji’s lips, regret took over at the sight of Sukuna’s face. He honestly didn’t know how the curse would react, expecting to be shoved off again as the more likely outcome than the full-body freeze he was witnessing. 

    The curse’s eyes widened, bewildered by the form of address Yuji had used. It wasn’t like a Yuji could have used his name, and he was still in Fushiguro’s body, which for better or for worse gave him the stature of a teenager… He’d made Sukuna livid, hadn’t he?

    This was how his life was going to end.

     

    ❤ Yuji gets attacked while alone and turned into a child. His memories are all intact, but no one else needs to know that. Especially when the first person to find him is the curse who abandoned him once already.

    He sighs heavily, and looks his best friend dead in the eye, and finally delivers the news. “You cannot court Fushiguro. He is not worthy of you. I must ask you to put a stop to this.”
    Itadori blinks at him once, twice, several times, and then absolutely squawks, high-pitched and certainly not manly, “W-what do you mean? Todo that’s-that’s none of your business!"

    Todo disapproves of Itadori's crush. He has his reasons, and if he has to intervene, he will for the sake of his best friend's honor. As one would say, it is a matter of bros before hoes.
