With the loss of Mecha Man and no one to succeed him, it’s getting harder and harder to hold onto hope. That changes when Robert is found during a Red Ring base bust, and now he, Chase, and the Z-Team must learn to navigate their new normal.
But Shroud still runs free, and he doesn’t take kindly to anyone taking what’s his.

Peter’s chin quivered. What he’s thought to be a casual break-in by some mad scientist aiming to create the newest threat of the week quickly turned dangerous.
Way too dangerous for someone like him.
There was no denying the facts. Even though he loved to call himself an honorary Avenger in his head from time to time, he was still fairly new to the whole superhero gig. Stopping petty crime. That’s what he was doing.
This… sure, pickpocketers got boring after some time, making Peter crave a challenge.
But Iron Man?
That was a real Avengers level threat.~~~
Tony couldn’t just simply let the kid go. He did things a certain way, he had a reputation to uphold. Not to mention he couldn’t afford to leave any more loose ends, or allow anyone to find out what he’s been working about for the past year.
Well, that settled it, then. There was only one way to solve this.
Standing up and throwing the mask aside, Tony took aim and shot. -

“There’s a leader—rank—board for d-dispatchers?” Waterboy blurts. Robert's lips tip upwards, an amused little smile.
“Of course there is,” he drawls. “What, did you think you guys were special? Corporate likes to look at numbers going up and down."
“What are you guys even judged on?” Prism asks. Robert raises a hand, counting on his fingers as he speaks.
“Team synergy, mission success rate, call completion efficiency, subscriber satisfaction…” his smile widens wryly. “Collateral damage.”
“Where are you in the rankings?” Unable to contain his curiosity, Sonar cuts back in. Robert levels him with a blank stare.
“You spent an hour mid-shift last Tuesday ‘powdering your nose’,” he deadpans. “Where do you think I am?”
The Z-Team finds out about Robert's continued lack of furniture, the upsetting state of his wallet, and the dispatching team's leaderboard. They hatch a plan. Robert suffers a normal amount.

"Did you say Sleeping Beauty?" Visi asks.
"The seven dwarves aren't—they're fr-from Snow White," Waterboy clarifies helpfully.
"That's what I said?" Robert frowns. "Are they not the same thing?"
"This is either deeply pathetic or just plain sad," Prism snorts. "Girl, you don't know your Disney princesses?"
"Probably all of Bob-Bob's comas catching up to him," Flambae says, "I bet reckless. He is a stupid idiot, after all."
The likelihood that he's the current topic of conversation—and betting pool—increases somewhat. Robert sighs again. "Why are you guys talking about... is it the seven dwarves?"
Or: The Z-Team gets Robert drunk.
