"Sorry 'bout the mess," Battat mutters. "This dressing room hasn't been used since…"
He trails off. A poster on the wall he's seen dozens of times combing through this place catches his eye. It's a photo of Tenna posing under the spotlight. The person beside him doesn't have fluorescent pink and yellow glasses, bright red cheeks on an unnaturally white face, a jaw that swings on a hinge whenever he speaks, a threadbare black blazer over a dirty button-up, or neon green strings visible between his finger joints when he bends them.
But he does have a long, pointy nose and black hair slicked back. He is somewhere around Mike's height, assuming Tenna's at his usual stature. That's… that's about it, actually.
The stranger notices what he's looking at, and his unnaturally wide smile somehow pulls wider. "Mike… [Do you know who I am]?"

Summary
A day has passed since Tenna settled into life with Mettaton- watched and appreciated, he's very hesitantly happy with this new, shaky life.
That is, until two certain kids get a little too curious, making the Knight have to set an example- or, perhaps, cause a distraction?
Originally a supposed murder attempt, Tenna can now walk around in the Light World, able to switch between ordinary TV and monster. Now he has to actually put the work into acting like a person, sorting through his trauma, and getting to know his new roommate. When characters from his past start making things more complicated, will he be able to handle the pressure? Or will he shatter for a third time?

Spamton catches a nasty bug and Tenna (attempts) to care for him. As with all things, Spamton is as difficult to deal with when sick as he is when well.

For as much as he'd meant it at the time – just a few hours ago – Tenna was beginning to relent to the fact that maybe Spamton's concerns weren't misplaced, actually.
He'd been a bit run down a couple days now. Fatigue, stuffy head, some aches and pains. Spamton hadn't said anything until that morning, when the cough developed rather abruptly. About halfway through the workday, Tenna began feeling feverish.
Now, at about seven o'clock, he felt like he was recovering from being hit by a sledgehammer.
