Summary
Star's search for her missing mother has borne little to no result, and the girl grows desperate enough to take a harsh decision in an attempt to find a way to see her again. Now alone in a version of Mewni that feels both familiar and unfamiliar, Star is surrounded by people who do not recognize her and yet carry the faces of both her friends and her enemies. Despite the dangers that fill this world and the adverse odds, she eventually decides to try and fix what went wrong in the new universe.
And everything starts from the person who should have been her mother.

Summary
Anne believed that things in Wartwood would stay relatively calm for a while, after the fateful visit from the tax collectors of Toad Tower. However, her predictions are proved wrong when a travelling merchant arrives in town, bringing with him hard-to-believe news that turn her already disrupted world upside-down yet again.
The chance of a new lead proves impossible to ignore, and she convinces the Plantars to go with her to investigate the rumour, leading to an encounter with a stranger whose presence in Amphibia is as much of an oddity as Anne’s. Perhaps, there is something to be gained, and learned, from the meeting with the so-called ‘kid with the hat’ for all parties involved.

This came about mostly because I kept needing to bounce around all over the internet looking for guides on how to use the hidden search functions on AO3. In other words, filtering tags and more using the "Search within results" field. It turns out these operators are capable of a lot of useful stuff, but how to do it isn't always super intuitive, so. Here is my attempt to consolidate as much information as I can into one spot!

● the CSS code for diacritics to render properly, e.g.: “ầ” & “ồ” (with diacritics not superimposed), or “ị” (with underdot directly beneath, not kerned to the left), without breaking words such as “gầu” or “vịt” (using a monotype font for these letters would create gaps to each side of the ầ or the ị). The Silent Stars Go By by Alkrolyd.
The Owl House.One-shot diving into a post-apocalyptic setting, following Hunter exploring a ruined version of the world of the show. Makes an excellent effort in slowly offering clues and then droplets of lore concerning both the fate of the world and the rest of the Owl House cast. Bleak and gripping, just as I like it ( :P ).
