Summary
“Oh, Miquella.” She touches him, takes his cheek in her small hand and strokes him, thumbing over his cheekbone from nose to ear, slowly, as if she might commit his shape to memory. “You have lost… so much.”
“Not quite enough to become a God,” he counters. “Yet.”
He means it as reassurance. He means to say, I have lost nothing more than what I had to lose. What I set out to lose, for a greater purpose. And that is good. I am doing good for the world.
But she is not reassured. She sighs, and it is not her sweet, familiar sigh but something so heavy that he is surprised not to see it take physical form and thud down between them.
“But enough so you cannot go back.”
At that he laughs, and it comes out too brittle—or is it too hard?—to be amusement. “I do not wish to go back.”

Summary
Wyll, that sanctimonious bastard, refuses to help Astarion ascend. Astarion leaves the party, hoping they all die screaming.
Ah, but Raphael has an offer: a mirror allowing travel between worlds. Surely there must be a universe where ascension is still on the table? There’s nothing left for Astarion in Baldur’s Gate, after all.
It doesn’t matter that Wyll’s come looking for him. And it certainly doesn’t matter that Wyll follows through the glass, through boundless universes, through their myriad other lives—searching, chasing, never giving up.

Wyll’s leaned up against the farm fence in the distance, watching Astarion flutter and flirt. His mouth is a thin line.
“We’ll give lust a try,” Dorothea says blandly. “Let’s see what you do with it.”

Summary
At night, alone in his bedroll, Astarion’s mind wanders. Away from himself, his body, his own recursive and increasingly irritating patterns of thought—it wanders and it wanders until it, eventually, ends up back where it started. Astarion on his knees, entertaining someone else.
He has spent two hundred years fantasizing about freedom—ludicrous dreams, where he is fed, where he is warm, where he parts Cazador’s head from his neck with his fangs—the stupidest, most basic, crudest ideas of what he might do if only he had the power to control himself. And now that he has that control, he fantasizes about someone taking it away again.
Specifically, he fantasizes about Wyll.
For some time, now, Astarion has fantasized about Wyll Ravengard putting him in his place. This isn't a problem, until suddenly it is.

Summary
In the modern world of Toril, magic and devils and the like are believed to be relics of the distant past. But 34-year-old Wyll Ravengard knows all too well that these things still lurk in the corners of his own city, Baldur’s Gate, where he fights every day in the arena of the courtroom for his clients who have no one else by their side. One mundane morning, he meets one of his semi-regulars in lockup, Astarion Ancunín, a rare elf remaining in this world. What seems like one of Astarion’s usual street-level run-ins with the law explodes into something much more—something touching the highest levels of the city-state’s government and infernal planes beyond. Wyll struggles against the forces in and out of the system that wish to use Astarion, and at the same time contends with his own long-sleeping pact with a higher power which will lead him and Astarion on a journey far beyond the familiar confines of the Gate.

Summary
This series is based on my double-rogue playthrough. Tav is an assassin rogue, chaotic neutral, chooses mostly good options but a ton of options just for the laughs or the money. Astarion remains unascended. Everyone shows up sooner or later, though main group includes Karlach and Shadowheart.
Written gender-neutral and from second-person so that you can insert your Tav to be rogue!Tav :)
Ordered chronologically, not written chronologically because I just write whatever comes to mind tbh.

Summary
“And you’re still a bleeding heart.” Astarion said it like an insult, with pity in his voice. “I would have thought your chosen line of work would have put a tourniquet to that.”
“I’ve been up against worse than patriars before and kept my head straight and my aim true.”
Astarion seemed to consider that. “I’ve witnessed just how true your aim is, so I would avoid bragging about it as such.” It surprised a laugh out of Wyll. For the briefest moment, something like satisfaction shown on Astarion’s face. “I never said I was lucky,” Wyll said in return.

“I was going to ask you to join me," you huff, "but after that little stunt I might rather drown you instead.”
“A risk I’m willing to take, fortunately for you," Astarion purrs. "It would be the nicest drowning I’ve had by far."
It might be funny if he were joking.
You don’t think he’s joking.
Astarion carries the weight of two hundred terrible years. You do your best to ease the strain.

Summary
There was a problem with Astarion.
Well, in all likelihood, there were quite a few problems with Astarion.
He was abrasive and flippant and self-serving, and Gale was in no doubt that his quick fingers were skimming at least a little out of whatever chests Tav had him picking.
Oh, and there was the fact that he was a vampire. Yes, there was that little detail.
Or, Astarion getting outed by the shadow-cursed lands.

Summary
The vampire's eyes are wide and round, full of amazement. They dart wildly around the sights below, as if trying to see everything at once. The lights of the city reflect upon his face, soft shadows dancing across his elegant features. The very tips of his fangs are visible from his parted lips.
The radiance of the city pales in comparison.
✧・゚: *✧・゚:* ✧・゚: *✧
Two months after the brain falls, Baldur's Gate has picked up most of the pieces. The heroes that saved Faerûn have been there through most of it, helping the city get back on its feet. But now it's time to move on. Old lives and families to return to. Gale is going back to his tower in Waterdeep, back to the quiet, back to being alone; or at least, that was the plan. But plans change.
This is a story about falling in love.
