    Aizawa-sensei lazily tosses him the ball. He squawks and fumbles with it in his jittery hands, juggling it clumsily before it falls to the ground with a sad plop.

    A round of snickers rises from the class—not out of maliciousness; at least, not really. The air is fraught with so much tension that everyone is desperate for a breather.

    “Damn,” Kaminari whispers sympathetically.

    He gulps and retrieves it shakily, rolling it in his hands like he isn’t sure what to do.

    “Any day now, Midoriya,” Aizawa-sensei drawls.

    The boy jolts. “R-right! Sorry…” he says, rubbing the back of his neck bashfully.

    Midoriya breathes deeply, clutching the ball to his chest and bending his knees.

    Suddenly, the air begins to change.

    Aizawa sighed. “Not exactly. The quirk is a weird mix between a truth quirk and a prone to suggestion quirk, thanks to the boy's parents. It means you’ll be under the effects of a normal truth quirk, but you also won’t have the ability to keep yourselves from oversharing.”

    “So we’ll all be spouting fucking word vomit like Deku?!”

    “Yes, Bakugou. Fucking word vomit.”

    Class 1-A is hit by a very powerful truth quirk, and lots of things come out. Some things are quite harmless - quite the opposite, really - others are quite funny, and some open wounds that never really healed.
